what if taylor named it the tortured poets department because it is largely about matty, but also have hints of joe, jake, and john and all of them have the “tortured poet” or the “so angsty, deep, and smart” air to them but it’s only surface level? because i’ve noticed some of the lyrics are reminding me of how these types of guys talk versus how they actually are/how they actually talk

but i’m just brainstorming. i’m not usually a detective swiftie, more of a passive swifty who appreciated the imagery through making them into stories (and crying).

Hii, what do you mean when you say a request has been sent through chat? Does that mean it's not available for public reading?

hi lovely! when i put something has been sent through chat it means that someone had submitted the request through my DMs and there isn’t a submission i can link the request with!

whenever i post the fics that have been requested via chat, i post publicly! for instance, my steve harrington fic (eternal flame) was requested by a moot through chat.

basically, it’s to keep me organized, serves a reminder that this was requested, and allows followers to see what characters i have fics for that will be eventually come (i promise, i am working on fics, just 2023 kicked my ass)!

just so you lovelies know, i will most likely be a bit quiet again because my grandmother just passed away fairly unexpectedly so i will be keeping myself busy (home improvements so we can sell the house) and i might be working on fics and projects that i’ve been picking at but i am not sure

1. i celebrate christmas with my family but i also participate in some yule traditions personally!

2. yes! i love decorating for the holidays, my fav is the christmas tree because we get a real tree every year!

3. watching national lampoons christmas vacation (we have it on dvd) or drinking rum and coke while decorating!

5. no, i have never! i absolutely love all the gifts i recieve and even if i dont have a use for it right away, i keep it and end up using it later!

6. honestly, i much prefer giving gifts because i get so excited to see how people react to my gifts! i also love receiving obviously, but i get most excited over the holidays about giving gifts! my excitement for getting gifts is isolated to christmas eve night and christmas morning!

7. probs my childhood happiness to remind me of the good days. to remind me to live the life younger me wanted to live before i actually grew up.

8. nonsense christmas, christmas tree farm, winter wonderland, and last christmas

9. we used to have a christmas bulb and a santa figurine that were both handcrafted in poland. we also used to have a dancing christmas tree that sang but it eventually stopped working.

10. honestly, i am not sure what my dream gift would be. perhaps it would be something someone got me because they really listened to me. that is all i ever want is that someone listens to me throughout the year and they get me something based on that. but if i had to say something, rn it would either be a new car (not like a 2023/24 model, just a new to me car) or paying off my credit card debt because those are the things i need the most rn.

11. depending on what i am doing. if i am walking around campus or running errands, i wear my fav knitted mittens. if i am outside for any length of time snowshoeing or walking in the woods or anything, i wear those cheap cloth gloves and then snowboarding gloves over those so i can stay warm longer

12. being with the people i love and that weird time between christmas and new years where time seems to stand still.

Ooo fearless I have her first album on cd and it’s the one with the original picture to burn lyrics then I have fearless and speak now on cd which I like to listen to and 1989 on iTunes but all was bought way before like when they came out cause I would listen to the cds all the time and do whatever little kids do I don’t remember then I got 1989 on vinyl from my dad he got me one to open and one to keep wrapped up

oh my god! i have the self-titled cd with the original picture to burn lyrics, fearless, and speak now both on cd! i also have 1989 on cd, both the regular and deluxe version with the polroids! i have everything else on spotify and i have speak now (tv) and midnights on vinyl. the only albums i dont have copies of either on vinyl or cd are red (cds were going out and buying songs was very different at that time so i only have some songs from the original release of red), reputation (i was exclusively streaming when that came out), lover, folklore, and evermore (same reasons as rep).
