@woooooowzas My response was too long for a reply, so heres a whole post !

There are a whole lot of difference between concept dib and show dib in my opinion, I see them as completely different people! First and foremost, Concept Dib is not as emotionally intelligent as Show Dib. Concept Dib has a hard time showing sympathy, as his brain is wired to be completely logical, he would be considered someone who is utilitarian. Taking the most risk for a better future, even if not moral. Show Dib is WAY more empathetic and is rebellious towards Professor Membrane. I do also want to mention that Concept Dib's Prof. M is incredibly intimidating; Not only is he a horrific and unethical scientist, he keeps Dib close with a leash and psychological abuse. He sees Dib as more of a trophy and pet rather than son, if that makes sense.

I think my favorite difference and similarity between them is their insanity LOL. Both are very prone and subjected to mental and emotional stress, which leads to breakdowns. But the main reason of Concept Dib's breakdown and behavior is basically horror and philosophical distress; Wondering, "Am I really doing the right thing? My father wouldn't lie about this." VS Show Dib where his reasoning is more of like parental neglect and constantly having to explain basic principles to the entire world, leaving him to feel isolated and crazy.

In conclusion, the main difference between the two is simply the exact same self-asking question: "Am I going crazy?"
