How quirky yet cool is this detective's office with its kitschy neon sign? I kept walking by this place and finally went out with my camera to wait for unsuspecting passersby to capture on film. Almost felt like a detective myself! Although a really bad one, crouching obviously between electric scooters across the street... But well, I hope you enjoy the evidence I collected ;)

Don’t slip! About 3 years ago, I fell on ice not far from here. The frame of my glasses broke into a sharp point on impact, and cut a deep gash in my eyebrow. I had to navigate my first time going to the ER and getting stitches in France in FRENCH. Such a strange experience and I still have a scar. I’m changing neighborhoods now and reflecting on my time in the 14th!

Paris is a bit of a ghost town during confinement. Trocadero is completely deserted, and this was in the middle of the day. It’s a bit eerie, but I’m trying to appreciate having these usually crowded places almost entirely to myself.

Often I’ll be returning - Apollinaire

This photo doesn’t seem like much - but I love this mural near my apartment. Although now that I look at the translation - I believe it’s not “return” but rather “turn over” (as in toss and turn during a nightmare). Any French speakers care to weigh in?
