Persona IV- Oil on gessoed Moleskine. This took a lot of time, this was the second attempt, because I was being stubborn about “limited palettes”. It drove mad, but I learnt that I need to practice more and more importantly, «patience is a virtue». On the other hand, it is really exciting to think about the next piece 😊

Face: 17/100faceschallenge Last week, I was doing some exercises with oil, limited palettes. It was such a frustrating experience that my mind claimed ‘it would be easier if I were to use watercolor.’ I was proven wrong. I also learnt that not all piece need to look as neat as the last one. Nonetheless, it was a nice exercise, but I am not as keen as to keep on working with limited palettes. I am really stubborn…

“The ritual is a series of images that revolves around one’s perception through the eyes of someone equal. One’s perception can be prey to the quietness of a dance, a pair of watchful eyes, a soild that clung to our shoulders or some ornaments decorating our eyes.”

Face: 14/#100faceschallenge

For those asking about the the arts supplies: Van Gogh watercolor set, Turner gouache acrylic (for the small hints of colors, neon and such), Golden silver paint for the earring and even if it can be appreciated in the photo, I use Paul Rubens Interference watercolor set.
