i do not use gendered language, or language like “uterus havers”

i use the word “obese” once in quotations when referencing the arbitrary groups in the cited studies. otherwise, “fat” is used as a neutral descriptor with the acknowledgement that it does not describe everyone over the weights mentioned

ukrainian roma are stuck in war zones with nowhere to go

there are roughly 400,000 roma in ukraine. it is estimated that 30,000 have no form of ID. our brothers and sisters in ukraine have long suffered under ukrainian's right-wing policies and now many can't even escape the country as russia continues its invasion. ukrainian roma are being expected to fight for a country that hates them. i urge that you keep them in mind and educate yourself about the history of antigypsyism in ukraine by at least reading the thread below:

If you are looking for an emergency exit from Ukraine, Poland will open EIGHT safety points on the border with Ukraine (you will get warm food, medical help and from there you will be guided to safety) in two of our voivodeships: lubuskie and podkarpackie. It is confirmed by the Polish Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Paweł Szefernaker.
