I read the entire post, “informational” or not the fact that you were so easy going and willing to put it out there on the INTERNET. Tells us this is a common thing you feel like you can away with. What’s spreading hate and discrimination is white people like you assuming they can still get away with saying slurs like that for ANY reason. I don’t care how you feel about it. IF YOU DONT HAVE AFRICAN BLOOD RUNNING THROUGH YOUR VEINS STFU. You could’ve EASILY done ANYTHING to prevent yourself from saying the slur without using the word. And putting something in quotes doesn’t mean someone else said it and you didn’t. This is SAD af. And disgraceful. THIS SHIT IT WHY I CANT STAND BEING WHITE.

To believe that people who do use these terms without care are going to take the time to look up if what they are doing is wrong, is ignorant in itself.

You are absolutely right. It’s not something I have the right to use. But I must ask, did you actually read my *post, or just see the words and get mad? The purpose of my post was strictly educational, and not something I use lightly. I apologize if I offended you. That was never the intent, as was implied in the post itself. I recognize that using such horrid language is NOT okay, and what was written was not a racial jab or meant as a form of disrespect.

I’m not going to apologize for telling people directly what words are harmful to use however. Transparency on these topics is important. If you want ignorant or uneducated people to stop, you need them to be informed rather than just vaguely referencing something that they are then able to brush aside.

There are limited amount of Black, coloured and Romani people living where I do, and a surplus of entitled white racists. If you get mad at your allies defending you when there is little of the minority to do so then you allow the hateful people to continue their rage upon the principle of “No one ever told me it wasn’t okay.” As much as I hate it, life requires us to be blunt sometimes.

I kindly ask you direct your hate elsewhere, as there is none here. I hope you and yours are happy, healthy, and safe.

yeah Charon really isn't a moon proper because it's not actually orbiting Pluto, they're orbiting each other!

this means that Pluto and Charon are actually a paired system of orbiting bodies and not a standard planet-moon-system at all, and this is a major reason why Pluto was disqualified from being a planet proper in the first place!

this double-orbit is also a major reason why Pluto's orbit around the Sun is just so unbelievably fucked up.

which, again, is another reason why Pluto got kicked off of the Planets table and had to go sit with Planetoids and Dwarf Planets at the kiddy table.
