hey so, I think it’s about time i retire this account. I don’t think i’m going to be active on it much anymore, and it’s also attached to some painful memories. read under the line for my other, non-lapidot social media

i kept my identity on here hidden cause i’m super insecure about drawing romantic stuff, even on here, when my blog is literally dedicated to it, i’ve received harassment for my art looking “too horny” and even received that kind of harassment on my main account even though i rarely draw any romantic stuff at all.

before i say anything else i want to reiterate, once again, that nsfw is traumatizing to me, even just offhanded jokes or suggestive behavior triggers panic. if you think my art has to be sexual/horny/smutty/pornographic/erotic... well, here’s my final response to that: fuck you.

anyone that says that shit, tries to sexualize my art, etc, gets literally none of my respect. i will instantly tell you to go fuck yourself and block you. i’m not tolerating that anymore.

anyway, now that that’s out of the way, here’s the actual speech:

SU meant a lot to me, and always will, but i’m just not inspired to make fanart anymore. lapidot still is a big comfort ship to me, as well as Lapis as a character, but as i said earlier, i moved on to other interests. i just don’t have the interest or motivation to continue managing this blog when i don’t want to. if I make lapidot or SU art again, it will be posted on my main accounts.

in spite of the harassment i’ve dealt with, there are a lot of people on here who made me really happy, with the things you’d leave in tags when reblogging, the kind asks i’d get, general comments, compliments, and participation in my ideas. i don’t want to become another one of those artists that just disappears into the ether. i also want to try to stop being so insecure about my identity being tied to this account, but i think it will be okay. i’ve already had some friends who recognize my art style regardless.

i’m mata. i’m 21. i use she/her pronouns, i’m an ace lesbian, i draw, animate, and 3d model. i really love video games, hlvrai, mcyt, rain world, dinosaurs, various other fandoms, and I’m a ~furry~. i also sang on 1 (one) song on my friend’s album.

YOUTUBE - i animate a lot of warrior cats and video game stuff, like Rain World OCs.

TUMBLR - I post most of my art here! 

DEVIANTART - I don’t use deviantart anymore, but it’s a good archive of all my art over the years.

TWITTER - I am trying to move away from twitter due to the toxic atmosphere damaging my mental health, but i post/share art, shitposts, etc. when i’m not doing so on my tumblr
