Hey. Hey you. The person aimlessly scrolling, stuck in an immobilized standoff with your brain
It's not your fault. You won't be stuck forever. I know you're trying. I know you hate it. It's ok.
And tell the Mean Voice in your head that it's not helping. It knows as well as you do that you would get up and Just Start the task if you could. You're not doing this on purpose.
Take a deep breath. Relax your jaw. I see you trying so hard to break out of it, but you can't force it. You'll get Unstuck eventually. All you can do in the interim is be kind to yourself.
They say that spring starts with snowdrops.
Here where I live, the weather is too tropical to enjoy these pretty flowers, all I can do is admire them by drawing them.
Small note: At my patreon (AneaCC) there's a wallpaper with this design, if your interested <3

March 2, 2024 - Rufous-crowned Greenlet (Hylophilus poicilotis)
Found in southeastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, and northern Argentina, these birds in the vireo family live in lowland and mountain forests and woodlands. They feed primarily on invertebrates, along with some fruit, foraging alone, in pairs, and in small flocks, sometimes with other species. Very little is known about their breeding behavior, though a bird was seen with green moss in late September and they have been observed in likely family groups of up to six birds.
March 4, 2024 - Long-tailed Tyrant (Colonia colonus)
Found in parts of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela, these tyrant flycatchers live in forests and woodlands, often around water. Hunting in short flights from exposed perches in pairs or family groups, they feed on insects, including stingless bees and beetles. They build their nests from leaf stems in cavities in tree trunks or snags. Females lay clutches of two or three eggs.

Kākāpō - a very endangered flightless parrot endemic to New Zealand. Kākāpō courtship revolves around a polygynous lek system, in which males gather to perform loud, deep booming songs in an attempt to attract a mate. Timelapse under the cut!
