Skirts for M sims, teens to elders. Choose if you want them to be tooltipped, in which case they will show up like any regular CC, or BSOK'd, in which case they will be sorted with Lifa trans M clothing (more details on that at the bottom of the post).

All have fat morphs, adults have preg morphs. The teen & elder recolors can be either standalone or repo'd to adults.

Most of these skirts are categorized as everyday & outerwear - to access separates in clothing categories other than everyday, you can use Lazy Duchess's Separates4all mod.

Skirts originally for AF by @goatskickin (on a mesh by Amaryll). I moved up the belt line and replaced the Yuxi boots with Pixicat's biker boots for a big poly reduction.

About the tooltip/BSOK options

These skirts match both the standard Maxis M shapes and Lifa's trans M shapes (except EM because there is no dedicated Lifa trans EM shape - Lifa trans EM sims use the adult shape). That's why I'm giving you the option to have them either categorized with regular cc or with Lifa's trans M cc.

But, I hear you say, wouldn't any M bottoms match both the standard Maxis M shapes and Lifa's trans M shapes anyway? They match at the waist so that they are compatible with the same tops, but other than that, not exactly.

Maxis M and Lifa trans M bottoms differ in 3 places: Lifa trans M bottoms have the Maxis F higher crotch level, lower knees mapping and distinctly F toes mapping. These particularities on Lifa trans M sims are solved through the use of showerproof skins made specifically for trans sims. Anyway, since skirts hide crotch level and the specific skirts I picked for this post also hide the knees and toes textures, those differences aren't applicable here, hencewhy I'm saying they match both shapes.

In contrast, see the skirts on this post, which I presented exclusively as for Lifa's trans M and made available BSOK'd only. Those skirts have visible knee textures and those knees will look a bit weird on sims who don't have a showerproof skin made for trans M.

That said, these distinctions may ultimately be completely irrelevant to you. To be honest they aren't jarring at all unless you're looking for them. I also never mean to imply that people need to be trans to wear skirts or anything like that, the classifications that I use for cc clothing are purely technical (the TS2 part of my brain is mostly occupied by downloads folder management and CAS catalog organization and apparently I haven't played the actual game since November 2022 oh god).

...mid-length skirts with boots and tights for the chill!

Oshima made a shoe swap of this skirt for teens, adults and elders, and it's really one of my favorites!

I felt the need to put so many retextures on it. Comes in pleated plaids, some plain colors and one red patterned outlier.

I'm on a defaulting roll for this long Easter week-end! this time with some clothes: afbottomflairedpantssandals and tfbottomflairedpantssandals replaced with 4t2 frayed jeans with peep-toe booties by @vulrien-sims and @pforestsims, tf conversion by @rudhira. I mixed and matched different shoe/pants colors and added the extra teen recolor for adults as well (it is decustomized but still doesn't show up next to the others in the catalog, sorry for that) Download flairedpantssandals (SFS) aftopmotojacket_ep7 and aftopmotojacket_ep8 replaced with @pforestsims' leather vests, short and long version respectively. I don't think creators "should" necessarily share less recolors for an item but I know I personally can't be left alone with the crushing responsibility of making a choice... which is ironically why I have been guilty myself of making way more recolors than I can use

Is there such a thing as 'too many recolors'?

ufhairlong replaced with Bfly171 - converted by @redsimmer-blog As soon as I saw this mesh I fell in love with it, it's so pretty, nicely animated AND low poly (only 7,5k!). I knew it would be perfect as a default. Replaces tf-af, cf completer is included. Textures are the original ones (Io’s Edit of Pooklet v3 Textures with pf scalp texture) + my unnatural recolors for the mirror hairs Download (SFS) I've had this default in my game for over a year now, and never shared it because I was'nt 100% happy with the unnatural recolors I made. But I've sat on it long enough so here I go anyway...

WIP Cleanout Part IV: 3t2 Fins Out Hair - Animated I love this hair, it's simple and cute! I like it enough that I decided it was worth going through the trouble of adding animations to this mesh, as I am pretty confident I will keep it in my game. And it was a pretty beginner-friendly mesh as far as I can tell These are mesh files only, unisex, toddler to elder. I replaced the GMDCs in Amaryll's original files, but did not touch anything else so you can just let them overwrite the previous version. DOWNLOAD (mesh only) You would still need to grab some textures if you don't already have them, like the original ones by Amaryll, those by @esotheria-sims, or those by @deedee-sims. Thanks a lot to @pforestsims for their tutorial on bone assignment for hair!

Bar tables - updated to work with @morepopcorn's mod No more need for custom barstool-height dining chairs! I cloned @morepopcorn's functional bar table and rebuilt my old files to make these tables I created in 2020 usable with any regular barstool.

WIP Cleanout part III: ATS baby gym - animated

the Leka Circus baby gym from ATS, now with animated toys! that's it, just a very small mesh edit with a half-assed preview featuring Brian Broke. For the animations to function properly, you either need the original DangleMaster Deluxe (edited version available here) or the animation fix by @honeywell-mts

WIP Cleanout part II : Mango "Orane" table mesh fix + glass recolors This one was a bit of a struggle. I think this coffee table was screaming for a glass tabletop so I made glass recolors in 7 different shades. I simply wanted to share my recolors but then noticed the mesh itself was buggy and ended up fixing it + adding slots. - Sims won't walk through the table but around it - No more jump bugs when a Sim tries to place an object on the table - 2 extra functional slots for all coffee table stuff - Price is now §300 cause I don't like cheaty §1 furniture - Same GUID as the original, pre-existing recolors still work. I posted about it on MTS a few months ago, as far as I know it is not possible to recolor neighborhood deco the usual way, but clones can be mesh-referenced to save resources: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=678845&goto=lastpost (they still appear as separate objects in the catalog) I haven't tried referencing textures from build/buy objects but I guess there's nothing preventing you from doing that

Can you repo neighborhood deco to a mesh from build/buy mode? I thought I saw a tutorial once. OR was it to repo neighborhood deco to another neighborhood deco mesh?

And what about recolors. Those would still have to be separate clones?

WIP Cleanout part I : clothing defaults I haven't been very active lately, but I continously have small half-finished projects going on... stuff that is good enough to stay in my game but that I never took the time to wrap up and share. So here I'm starting with some clothing defaults I actually completed last year (!) afbottomcaprisneaks replaced with 4t2 leggings high waist by @mdpthatsme (sneaker version). Enabled for athletic wear

note: I discovered that @hemfbg made a very similar default as well, and if I had known earlier, I probably wouldn't have bothered with it. But mine is a bit different: I replaced the yaf clones with different textures and enabled all clones for both ages, making it a total of 6 colors options

Pink Flashing Experience Research Survey!

Hi TS2 community, I am very interested in learning more about the way pink flashing happens or doesn't happen in different people's games. I have put together this kinda fairly detailed survey as a Google Form that hopefully can shed more light on the issue.

If you are familiar with your computer and graphics settings, you can easily finish the survey in about 5 minutes. If you need to look a few things up, it could take 10-15.

If you had flashing with some settings and resolved it, please consider filling out the form twice - once describing your experience before you fixed it and again for after. If not, please just use your post-fix experience.

Please, please reblog as data is only as good as the breadth of its sample. A summary of the results are viewable to all upon completion of the survey and I am happy to share more detailed findings with the modding community, just let me know.

I decided to create a simself! And a remake of my MTS profile pic, over 10 years later. The original screenshot and the save it was taken in are long gone, I'm keeping this pfp like a relic.

Now with shorter hair, rounder glasses and extra earrings, but the chunky sweaters are here to stay... just being the most generic white masc lesbian

Here comes my third build for the Foundations for Families challenge rebooted by @rockethorse! This time with a modern and rather fancy townhouse for rising soccer star Tyler Gravel.

The ground floor is mostly an open concept with the suspended staircase being the centerpiece. Even though Tyler lives alone, he likes to host parties and have friends and relatives over. I wanted the living area to feel spacious despite the house having a relatively small footprint. The entry hall is only separated from the main area by an arch, and includes a desk, access to a toilet and the staircase to the basement. And the kitchen would not be complete without a blender for Tyler's morning protein smoothies! (More pics under the cut)

The first floor has two bedrooms: a guest room furnished with twin beds, and Tyler's bedroom with a closet and high bay windows opening onto a private balcony. Tyler puts a lot of effort into his looks, and the main bathroom reflects how much time he likes spending there, complete with a massaging shower, corner bath and a large vanity.

Tyler's home gym is located in the basement, with an attached bathroom and combined shower/sauna cabin. The rest of the basement is occupied by a "play room" to entertain his... special guests And of course a bachelor needs a nice terrace, including a hot tub and outdoor lounge for grilling/pool parties.

Again I struggled a bit with the layout for this one but I had a quite clear vision from the start of the vibe I wanted to achieve, and I think it turned out pretty close to what I envisioned!
