I can’t help but feel like I accidentally manifested something terribly scary for the Touhou fandom while I was working on this series of drawings the past few weeks. Please forgive me, I only want the lesbians to make it out of this one ok 🥲

Been having a rough time the past 2ish weeks honestly. But it’s just made me more determined to change my own circumstances. I’m always thinking about art concepts and paths to improve my day to day life. I really do think within the next year or 2 that I can get to where I want to be. Just gotta keep working hard!

How u got into touhou

I’ve been a fan for a long time now. I first got into Touhou because of the music. I can’t remember the first song I listened to, but I do remember listening to Last Remote, The Bridge People No Longer Cross, and Reincarnation very often back then. Eventually I got into the games and the written works. The first game I played was IN and the second game I played was SA. I’ve been obsessed and have drawn these silly girls ever since.

Winter’s Last Breath

For some reason that I can’t explain, I’ve only ever worked on this drawing at the very end of winter. I first sketched out the idea for it during the last snowfall of last year, and I suddenly felt like coloring it during the last snowfall of this year. Either way, something about working on this piece at the end of winter felt sort of meditative to me. I think I’ll always be able to look back on this fondly for the feelings it gave me as I worked on it.

I hope that somehow translates to you and I hope you can enjoy it too!
