have you finished ordering the timeline you have up, in universe order?
Far from it, actually! I currently have ordered around 310 episodes – that's a lot! But then it's out of around 560 episodes total…! I haven't done much progress in my rewatch lately since I'm constantly trying to catch up with the latest episodes that keep airing every week. I'm writing this and there are new ones playing on TV right now lol… and I can't even watch them because I'm still a week behind!! 😛
Anyway, I'm far from done, and it'll probably be a while before the entire franchise is all in order. But in the meantime, make sure to follow the order in the spreadsheet, it's been ordered by the community so it's as close as the real thing until I catch up! It's also the list I keep up-to-date… unlike my very own blog 🙃
Thanks for the question!!

hi i’m really sorry if you’ve already answered this, i looked around but i couldn’t see and answer. But I was wondering why there is a random FBI episode in the list of Chicago episodes, does it relate to the storyline or something? because I also say it’s not a crossover. sorry if this doesn’t make sense. and Thank you for the Google doc!!! an actual angel!! it’s been a life saver when getting into this these TV shows so thank you
Hello FBI anon! Thank you so much for the kind words, it means a whole lot!! It's really fun to watch all the shows interacting with each other (and the crossovers, of course), so it's nice to have a list that orders them correctly :) Big user myself :))
For your question: No sweat! I remember I already answered this question before but I can't find it either so we're in the same boat 🙃
You're right, the FBI S02E19 episode isn't a crossover, but there is a cameo from one of the Chicago PD characters so that's why I've included it to my list. It's not really relevant to the plot of the Chicago shows overall; you won't feel lost if you decide to skip it. If you're familiar with the term, I'd consider it a filler: the episode depicts one of the cases Upton worked on while Voight sent her to work with the FBI team, nothing more really.
Hope this answers your question! Stay safe! 💚

NOT A QUESTION- JUST PRAISE- 😁 I just want to say your One Chicago list/spreadsheets are INCREDIBLE! I know you had help from fellow contributors but I can only imagine the amount of time, effort, and stress it involved. I went to 3 sites (that were rather useless) before I reached your page and I was amazed! I have been wanting to start the franchise for some time now but had no ideas where to start and how to determine cross-overs. You're a boss. Thank you!
Wow thank you Anon you're too kind!! 😭😭😭 I can't even count how many hours I've put into making this list but yeah it's probably by the hundreds! And I still have so much left to do!! Fortunately many people came by to help through the years and it's become way more accurate way more faster than I'd ever imagine, so thank you everyone! 💚
See you around!!!

Why is there a season 9 episode of PD before 2 of the season 8 episodes
Hello anon!
I moved the Chicago PD season 9 premiere to the 2020-2021 seasons right after the season 8 finale, because I felt it was the best placement for viewing experience, so the story flows better and all. You'll understand when you get there (though you probably did by now 😉) ! I usually try not to mix seasons because it is indeed confusing, but in this case I felt I had no choice.
Hope this helps! Thanks for the question! 😄

I have just seen a post on the archive where you state that you are board of Wolf's and cop shows, does this mean that you plan on stopping the chicago one list? Also this is the 3rd time I am using your list, I am on episode 448 out of the current 510 and I am the DVD user from the other week and in that time I have changed the discs around 420 times maybe more and I have almost, or have finished the ones I have on DVD, Chicago Fire S1-8, Chicago PD S1-7, Chicago Med S1-5 and Chicago Justice S1
Heya again! I cannot remember when you sent me this, but it definitely wasn't in 2022... Sorry? 😳
Lucky for you I'm a completionist so I'll always come back around... and this also applies to my One Chicago list! I might not be the greatest fan of cop shows yes, but I've actually been enjoying the latest Chicago seasons (still not caught up but I'm actively working on it), Chicago PD included :) I might not like some patterns the writers tend to follow but heh, it's TV drama and I've learned not to let it ruin my watching experience ;)
I'm guessing by now you're more up-to-date than me!! Wow! And you're hands down the master of switcheroo now, even I have no chance of reaching such level of expertise 💿💪
See you around!!

Hey you should do the episode this for the FBI franchise
Hello!
I absolutely won't, sorry. After watching the Chicago franchise for ten years, I have enough of Mr. Wolf's shows to watch as it is. I'm also not interested in watching any more cop shows, especially American, for reasons I'll keep to myself because other folks enjoy those as they should. Just not my taste! :)
If anyone's interested in making a list for that franchise, feel free to do so! Won't be me though!

i am looking for the list of supergirl, flash and arrow pls
Hi anon!
I would say you're in luck because it's only other masterlist I had used in the past, but uh... I can't seem to find the Tumblr post again. Luckily for you, there's a lot of lists available on the Internet for those shows, depending on with DC shows/comics/anything you want to watch, but one that seems very thorough is the Arrowverse Episode Order.

Hi! For your one chicago timeline i think that 5x11 takes place the day after 5x10 because Ruzek references Woods buying the money gag and immediately after that Jay apologises for what happened with Camilla the previous episode and Voight puts him on desk duty and in therapy which seems like it would happen very soon after 5x10. Hope youre having a nice day! :)
Hello again! I'm having a fairly nice day indeed! :) Hope you're doing well!!
Thanks a lot for noticing this! I moved the PD S05E11 in the spreadsheet to connect it to PD S05E09 and S05E10, and left a reminder there! I'll keep an eye open during my rewatch :)
Thanks again!! 💚

#114 Law and Order SVU season 17 episode 2 did not have anything to do with the story line just 17 episode 1 did.
Hi anon!
I have to admit it's not the most relevant it can be to the Chicago franchise, but that episode is the second part of the SVU episode right before, S17E01. In some cases, these two episodes are even merged into a single 2-hour long episode, so it's not possible to list one without the other.

Hi! It's been a while :) I was wondering whether there could be the potential, if it isn't already there, to add a column to the spreadsheet indicating when specific dates were either shown or mentioned. For ex, we know that Leslie dies on May 13 2014 in Fire; we also know that episode 2.02 (i think) of Med takes place on Aug 1 2016 when Ethan writes his deceased patient in his journal with her DOD. Could be handy!
Heyy! :) Long time no see! (probably my fault tho haha)
You know what, I've been thinking about that for a while too, ever since you sent that three-part ask! That could be relevant information to add, indeed!
Thing is, the spreasheet is already too large as it is, so I wouldn't currently add another column. I've started adding dates in the « Notes » column though, when a date is explicitly stated (like 2016-09-11, not like a shift after X or a week after Y).
However, I'm starting to feel as if the Justice and Law & Order: SVU cameo columns are just dead weight at this point. I'm still thinking about it, but I'm seriously considering removing them. Then that would give space to handier columns!
See you around! Hope you're doing well! 💚🍀

Hey, I love your Chicago Franchise Episodes Timeline, it’s been such a great help. Do you have one for the Law and Order franchise by any chance? Cheers.
Hi! :) Thanks for the love! 💚
Unfortunately no, I haven't made a similar list for Law & Order and I don't plan to either, since I haven't watched a single episode and there are over a thousand. I just don't think it would be accurate much.
Stay safe out there!! Season premieres ahead!!!

Hi, I have used your list in the past but I have them on DVD as streaming services have only few seasons of the shows on them. Is there a DVD order you have to this because changing the disc's every episode and keeping track of them is a pain in the ass, lol. Thanks, have a good one.
Heya comrade 🤡🤡
I see you have bought all DVDs like I did 🤡
If you have a DVD reader on your computer, I strongly suggest you look into ripping the DVDs into digital format with a DVD ripper, then watch them on a media player in the order you so desire. It is indeed way more enjoyable than performing DVD juggling.
Ripping DVDs is often perceived negatively, that's because people share the digital content they ripped with others and that is illegal. But if you keep your digital episodes, which you own since you bought them, for yourself, that is completely legal.
Hope this helps! Stay safe & secure! 💚

Chicago #76 should say Crossover
Thank you so much anon! I saw that the word « Crossover » had been changed in my intro too, I'm PISSED! And I think that's been there since I last edited my post too (a while), somehow an autocorrect corrected my post, which is pure horseshite since I edited on the full website. Purposefully not through mobile, and still somehow struggling to update it the way I want to.
Now I have to review the whole list again 😭 Should be done today, thanks a lot for pointing it out! Stay safe! 💚

When do you post new shows in the TimeLine? Please and thank you
Hi new eps anon!
The episodes for the upcoming seasons are already listed in the latest tab of the spreadsheet. As for here on my blog, I will probably update later today.
I suggest you refer to the spreadsheet first, as my blog post has become a true nightmare to edit (i.e. tumblr html editor is pure shites) so my updates here are more scarse. Ideally, I would update the list on my blog every other week but don't count too much on that please.
Thanks for the question and stay safe! 💚

I was wonder what show is FBI for the Chicago Franchise and where can I find it?
Hello! Sorry for the late response!
I admit that just goggling FBI doesn't amount to much; what you're looking for is the CBS FBI TV show, by the same creator as the Chicago franchise (which I shall not name or the pr0n bots here will get me). As for how to find it, I would suggest the usual streaming services; Amazöôn, YouTube, maybe IMDb, maybe Peacock? I remember having trouble myself finding the episode, unfortunately I don't remember the source where I got it, sorry 😩
The FBI episode in my list is not vital to the plot of Chicago PD at all, though, it's only a side piece of what Hailey did when Voight sent her over there.
I hope by the time I responded here, that you managed to find the episode!! Stay safe!
