Every day I am reminded that Tom Riddle helped Ginny write that love poem to Harry.

Tom, bored of Ginny already and holding in his laughter: You could always compare his eyes to toads, they are green.

Ginny: His eyes are as green as ... a fresh pickled toad!

Tom, now crying with laughter: It's beautiful, Ginny.

Ginny: His Hair is as dark as a Blackboard. I wish he was mine...

(Tom: Kill me now)

Tom, oozing with hatred at Harry: How about 'He's really divine', as he must have god-like powers to stop You Know Who after all...

(Tom: I must know how he lived... how did he survive? I must meet this boy)

Tom, now seething in sarcasm: How about ending it with, something like, 'Hero who conquered the Dark Lord' that's a good ending.

(Tom: I wonder if anybody picks up on the Dark Lord part. I would love to get the girl's family framed for being my supporters...)

Tom, rolling his eyes: Okay Ginny, show me the finished poem please.

4 years after graduation wasn’t long enough for Filch to forget the silhouette of a spidery student skulking around in the dark.

I saw a post (can’t remember by whom) that said something along the line of Snape probably getting mistaken for a student by Argus Filch when he first started teaching at Hogwarts. I thought it was funny, so I put it into a drawing🌝

Voldemort theories I could swear are canon but it turns out I just implicitly thought them:

The curse on the DADA job is manifested through the diadem Horcrux. Dumbledore could never break it because he doesn't know about the room of hidden things. Incidentally, he doesn't know about it because he's so powerful the room of requirement really doesn't have much to offer him, except, I guess, a toilet.

Harry resisted the imperius curse in class and in the graveyard because of the accidental Horcrux. Barty Jr does not have the will or ability to overpower his master, and Voldemort can't imperius himself.

I don't think about Harry Potter all that much these days but sometimes I just randomly remember that these kids were writing on parchment. Like I know they have an aesthetic but WHY are these children writing their essays on ANIMAL SKINS in this day and age. It just isn't practical. At least go with old-timey paper or something.

Idk bestie, we never actually see him seeming to enjoy hurting people in such a way. He's mean in class and seems to enjoy that, but bullying some kids (and partially to keep up his cover) is totally different from literal torture.
