Deadpool #14 End-credit tie into Absolute Carnage.

This AC set up is interesting. Might be the first apperance of the Life Foundation symbiotes since Deadpool Vs. Carnage. It’s interesting that Deadpool still might have a connection to them, maybe they are trying to reach out to him for help?

I’m kinda expecting that he’ll get messages out of the tv and out of random peoples talking like in Deadpool Vs Carnage.

Also if the Life Foundation symbiotes are going to be connected to Deadpool we might see more of them in the AC Deadpool vs Carnage tie-in. And that’s why they only have one stand alone Separation Anxiety comic.

As Pride celebrations around the country are underway, we lost another trans woman, this time directly at the hands of the state. Layleen Polanco Xtravaganza was found dead in her cell on Rikers Island today. She was scheduled to be released on the 13th. Layleen was a member of the legendary house of Xtravaganza and beloved in the NYC lgbtq community. Officials at Rikers, notorious for its abuse and in a long process to be closed, claim that there was no foul play suspected. We call bullshit. While Pride month is a celebration, it’s also a moment to reflect on the conditions which led to a need for such a celebration in the first place. Today, we are reminded of why Marsha P Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Ms Majors, and the other courageous trans women at the Stonewall Inn rebelled in the first place. They resisted state violence, and fought for a world that would acknowledge their dignity and worth as humans and as women. They fought for a world that has yet to to exist. We have a responsibility to build that world, not just for them, but for Layleen and all the other trans women stolen from us too soon. Rest in power Layleen Xtravaganza.

the thing about venom I can’t get over is that eddie is like…a recognizable celebrity? like sure, his show got canceled but like people still know who he is??? there’s gotta be security footage or news clips of him turning into venom, or like of the motorcycle chase like….that’s so fucking funny. could you imagine if the top trending news story is a guy turned into an alien monster and ate some guys and everything and you click on the video to see and it’s like….fucking john oliver or someone

Marvel has released news about Marvel’s Spider-Man season 3 titling it “Maximum Venom.” This is what they had to say: “Spider-Man is pushed to his breaking point when Venom summons an earth-shattering threat from its home planet.” Donny Cates, writer of the newest Venom series has also been consulted on the season.
