World of Winx Stella finally got character development and I loved it ⭐💛

Episodes 4 and 5 of WOW season 2 did so much justice for Stella’s character. I was literally crying. I’m impressed with this season a lot so far.

Ideas for the third season of World of Winx
• An alternate Trix. Yes, I don’t like the Trix anymore, but if they reboot the Trix in WoW, that would be cool.
• A B-team. Since an all-out war is going to happen, why not form a secondary team? Daphne, Roxy, and Diaspro could work. And why not having this team having a separate transformation than the Winx for more variation of power?
• To keep the quality, why not make this the last season of World of Winx? I honestly want more but I’m afraid the quality would dip through time. Yet since there would be an epic fight between fairies and witches, why not make this season 24 episodes long for a change.
• Selina, but with a different backstory. I like her character but she was introduced way too late in the show. For Bloom’s childhood friend, she could’ve been at least foreshadowed in the first season.

THOUGHTS ON THE WORLD OF WINX’S SECOND SEASON
Since Steven Universe is on hiatus, I checked out if the World of Winx spinoff had a new season and found out that all the new episodes were already released. I loved the previous season, so of course I decided to download the entire season.
Here are my thoughts about it:
*LIKES*
• The animation. I know some people complain about the couture style but I’m loving it ever since the first season. It’s like moving fashion designer drawings and I think that it was supposed to be like that.
• Onyrix. Yes, I kind of love the new transformation in general. I think Stella looked good in blue.
• Matt. I like his character and the development he got. I also liked when Aisha tried to train him because it was quite hilarious. His design reminds me of Thoren.
• Musa’s nemesis. She had the best design, and her theme gave me chills.
• The fact that it’s only the Winx. No Trix, no Specialists, no nothing. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but for me it fits the entire atmosphere of the spinoff. It’s only the girls interacting and supporting one another without being obsessed with dudes. Dang, I can’t stand that time when Bloom was too obsessed with Sky’s memories in the main series (forgot what season, I stopped caring after season 4 but still watched 5-7 like a chore because I wanted to see if it was getting better).
• The girls are finally using their powers effectively, and applying it efficiently. Stella controls light, Musa has sonic hearing, Aisha finally has powers over other liquids except her morphix, and such. I say the Winx here is more competent than their main series counterpart.
• Stella’s backstory. I’ve waited for so long to have the bits.
• Tecna’s nemesis. She should honestly be a season villain.
• The fact that the girls each get an equal screen time makes me so happy and makes me forget that Bloom in the main series is a spotlight hog. I like the WoW Bloom a lot better.
• Smee saves the day. It was great to see him becoming a real hero.
*DISLIKES*
• Bloom’s Onyrix. Yes, I like the transformation, except hers. Pink is not Bloom’s color. Stella and Musa killed it, though.
• NO ROXY :( . I squealed when she was on the first season, but she wasn’t here and now I’m sad. I hope she becomes relevant again because there seems to be a third season.
• Matt and Tinkerbell’s love story. It was forced and rushed.
• Tinkerbell herself. I just…cringe when she goes instantly all lovey-dovey with Matt.
• The fact that the kidnapper was obviously Smee and the Winx didn’t see it coming. The saboteur was obviously Venomya and the Winx didn’t see it coming.
• The Spirit of the World of Dreams just irritates me.
• The World of Nightmares felt like it was pulled under the rug with no foreshadowing bugs me.
• No closure with what really happened to Peter Pan whatsoever despite the fact that he was mentioned in every single episode.
• Jim was a great villain but it bugs me that the Winx didn’t see his betrayal coming.
*OTHER THOUGHTS/THEORIES*
• Onyrix is just a corrupted form of Dreamix. The Spirit of the Forest said in the first episode that the Winx’s fairy magic was generated by dreams, and since the world of dreams/Neverland was in danger, Dreamix “glitched”. Onyrix sacrificed the Dreamix’s power to transform on Earth for the ability to be transported to Neverland while transforming into it. Unlike the Butterflix/Tynix kind of thing, The Winx can’t transform into Dreamix and Onyrix seperately, so there’s that. To put it simply (if you watch Steven Universe), the gems would be Dreamix, Neverland in danger is the Diamond attack, and corrupted gems (like Centi) is Onyrix. It explains why Onyrix still exists even after Neverland is restored.
• The Winx in this dimension/au comes from a different background than that of the main series. This explains why we haven’t seen other characters. I think Roxy is also on the same boat and the Winx met her on different circumstances.
• The witch and fairy war will hopefully make Roxy relevant again. Baba Yaga/Venomya seemed clear to eliminate all fairies, which includes Roxy. The Winx needs all the help they can get. I hope Roxy gets a new transformation too. I’ll be so frustrated if she does not appear next season.
