Sometimes I lie awake at night and think about how even before he gained a separate identity and considered them a friend and all (and promptly fell in love with them, gender be damned), Ryoji, as Thanatos, came to Arisato's rescue when they were faced with a shadow for the first time.
Like, he saw how scared they were and how they didn't know wtf they were doing and wtf was happening and just went 'its okay bae here let me crush this boss level shadow into fine pulp for you'. And then he goes HAM on this shadow that's supposedly super stronk and also kind of a part of Death, so Ryoji was basically beating himself up...
Ryoji is best boi. Time to go replay P3P and romance him again.

I don't know how to feel about Morgana getting a human body in Persona 5 Royal. On one side, it's cute, and I love the art for him (or what might be him, anyways). On the other hand, it feels like such a rip-off of Teddie's plot arc, but with less sense. I feel like Morgana coming to acceot himslf as a non-human at the end but still wanting to find a way to become human somehow was powerful, and I really don't want to see that ruined by him quickly turning human just so there can be another bishounen (that you can't even date anyways RIP). I like cat!Morgana.

I can kinda see Minato (P3 Male Protag) as an older brother to Minako (P3P Protag).
Minako is bright, bubbly, but slightly naive. Minato is reserved, quiet, but social when he wants to be.
In terms of romance Minako is more open about her affections to her s/o.
Minato is shy and doesn鈥檛 publicly show his affection towards his s/o unless they鈥檙e at home alone. The boi just wants to snuggle his lover in peace.

Twin Arisato Headcanon
I will forever headcanon Minato and Hamuko as twinsies, with one of them having been stuck in a hospital after the accident on the bridge, and unknowingly carrying the final piece of Death, while the other has been at Port Island for a while now and has been a part of S.E.E.S. for longer.
The twin that acts as the host for Death has natural Persona abilities, however the other twin only has residual abilities as a result of their twin connection, driving them to artificially push their Persona to form, like the members of Strega.
Both twins have Orpheus, though their genders differ. This is a reflection of their bond, as well as the fact that only one of them is real.
And when one of the twins dies, the other loses their ability to use their Persona. It's not until they uncover the truth of the battle with Nyx that they regain it, but not as Orpheus... But as their twin's Ultimate, Messiah.

I want Junpei to meet Yusuke and show him the album of drawings left behind by Chidori, and Yusuke in return to show Junpei the painting of 'Sayuri' hanging in Leblanc, the one his mother painted, and then they just sit there and reminisce about the loved ones they'd lost a d how their art inspired them to become better than they were.
Because it might not have been the same kind of love, but I think they'd be able to understand each-other.

So apparently people hate the fact that Kasumi's Persona is Cinderella but like... It makes sense to me?
Because, yes, Cinderella is not rebellious in the way Arsene or Captain Kidd or Zorro are. But she represents one's ability to hold steadfast to who you are even against adversity, and isn't that the very basis of rebellion?
Besides, each character's Persona symbolizes the way that character views a true rebel to be, and Kasumi very clearly doesn't agree with the more forward/aggressive methods of the Thieves. Her rebellion us more subtle, more based on persevering and waiting for the right opportunity to seize your freedom. In that way, I think Cinderella fits her amazingly well.

What do you mean this didn't actually happen in the game?
How the Thieves sent their calling card to Akechi. [Sojiro, leaving an entire cake on the counter the moment he sees Akechi walked in: Here, the kid wanted me to give you this. He apparently put some kind fancy decoration on it.] [Akechi: Thank you. I wonder if that's why he asked me to come here... it's not my birthday and he could've just- *looks at the decoration*] [Cake: *has a calling card in the form of icing on top*]
Akechi: *reads card* *Life Will Change kicks in*

Akechi should get a dog.
Imagine a tired Goro returning home at like 3am after a day full of fake smiles and pretending to be someone else, someone who actually gives a damn about the job and the people he's forced to put up with. His apartment is too large and too fancy, it feels foreign after years of being passed around and not having a place to belong. It's simplistic, impersonal, barely lived in. He flips the light switch in, and is immediately met with a happy bark as a sleepy but excited Corgi waddles over and jumps about at his feet, demanding attention. The dog is always ready to give him unconditional love and support, regardless of what he's done or who he's killed. It senses that he's tired and weary, and does its best to cheer him up. Most importantly, it needs him, and he has no reason to believe that it will ever find a reason to discard him.
His Corgi's name is Pancake, by the way.

Is it just me, or does the design for the new girl in Persona 5 Royal look like a more hi-rez version of the P3P feMC but with longer hair?
Still salty we don't get a female protagonist, by the way.

I love how if you pay close enough attention during Akechi's turn in combat, you can hear the detective prince mask slip and the true Akechi shine from beneath. The things he says and the glee with which he says them don't match his usual attitude at all, and it's great - because they match the REAL him instead. It's similar to how Makoto is commanding and Haru is more aggressive, and I really like that attention to detail. Also I really love Akechi. There's that.
