I was once told that if you replace “love” with your significant other’s name in this verse, and everything that’s true about love is also true about your significant other when you re-read the verse with their name, then you’ve found true love. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

“The Little Drummer Boy”
This song came on the radio last year and I had an epiphany as I listened to it. The boy has no gift to bring baby Jesus besides the beating of his drum, and drums are the heart beat of every song. And we are called as Christians to give our hearts to Jesus…so the little drummer boy represents all of us needing to give Jesus nothing but our hearts to please him. After putting that together I knew I needed to make that my illustration for Christmas this year haha. Merry Christmas to you all, may the peace of Jesus’s birth and the hope that he brings fill your hearts as we move forward into a new year.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! For my Christmas illustration this year I decided to do an illustration of my favorite Christmas song “Do You Hear What I Hear?” This new year I’ll be striving to keep my eyes on Jesus, like how the characters in the song always had their sights on the star above Bethlehem.
