So after sanding down the clay, I came to this. How cool is that? They look like some long forgotten ceremonial mask that some archeologist found from a long dead civilization. Now that made me rethink my current path. So I painted the sanded parts again-but in a metallic bronze color and did a wash of a green/patina color.

Here is the current mask that I am working on (and the story of what’s happening right now).
So....I REALLY liked how my previous God of War mask came out so I started making several heads to look porcelein. And the drawing is what my next project was going to look like. So we move to the underlying structure and then the Das Pronto/clay piece.

Now on to doing my blue inlay......sort of a fake enameling (but it’s coming out pretty good).

Here is the finished face with the jawline in position. I covered the lines on the face with an additional coat of white paint before spraying 6 coats of high gloss sealant.

Sorry for the blurry image. Got the face sanded-then I sealed it in Gesso to make sure the white enamel is fully glossy. I then took my Micron pen (.05) and drew in porcelain cracks.

Here is the start of the filigre that will be around the face. I will cut out the darker parts and mount on thick board, then paint gold and finally enamel the depressions. A good example is my Beetle mask. The top image is part of the crown. The next in line is the jaw line and final image is two of 6 horns. I still have to draw out the frill/halo.

Here is the face part of the helmet. After many designs and fittings-I decided to make the nose separate and then fill the holes with either paper pulp or DAS (a modeling clay....of sorts)

Here is the start of a big dump. I got inspired from playing God of War and wanted to create something like the helmets of the Valkyries. I decided to start with Rota from Helheim which inspired me the most. I added my own touch instead of making a direct copy.........so here is my sketch.
