Yeeee! I started a assylum challenge (kind of). It's more like me wanting to try a different way of playing. I didn't remove my ageing mod so is this really a challenge? We will see...

The style of house it's like crazy scientist doing experiments of people. But I ended up making it more cheery and fun than I wanted. Also for some reason I only took pictures of the cloud relaxing room and the half empty big cellar...

All the loitering people will be burned with a flamethrower!!

It wouldn't be a proper assylum challenge if there wheren't any figths on the first day ~ and ofc they where approved by the crazy scientist looking after these patients.

Speaking of the scientist... As soon as I loaded the house and got ther lifetime want I actually got the "make x amout of simultaneous lovers" and I immidiatly rerolled and got this... So now the whole assulym challenge has a creepy vibe going on... 😬 but the love one would have been harder...

I also added the names of the patients and their aspirations in that picture. I just used some random name generator and took the first one it rolled. I might later see what they mean and if they add to the lore of the sim. I like naming like this ✨✨

Also I'm still not sure if extra money is approved of. I think it might make it too easy. So I think I might delete most of it and maybe add on some like "earn money without actually going to work" challenge to this. I think it would fit the lore of the love crazy scientist xD Also I really love to play like that!

I wanted to answer to this in a seperate post. Hope this finds you @sim2deri !! ✨

Here are some things that first come to mind:

Lamare's siftable everything = you can change the hight of any object. Most still work! Nice for adding clutter around and making cc free bushes have more volume.

2-step foundation starter back = when you wanna build a 2 step foundations fast!

somedaythesun has some nice sims 3 to sims 2 build items that i use a lot!

hugelunatic has some nice stuff that match maxis items

I also have finds blog for some cc but honestly It don't have mutch saved there. I recomment finding other sims 2 cc finds blogs !! Also check mine (or anyone's really) recourse page!! I personally use lots of defaults :D

This was pain in the ass to make. But i think it's like ok to sometimes get out of the confort zone and really dive deep into the constrainfloorelevation false -world. But as you can see it still has some litning issues in the top. But i think I might be able to solve those too with invisible walls. Invisible walls are truly a lifesaver.

Also one tip. Do the roof first on a non sloped space and then you can mess around with the elevation.

Also I hid the elevation of the floor with like a dresser and a door ':D

Some community lots I have been building. I really liked the thether idea, but i think the lot is too small for my plans.

it's taking too mutch space and I still wanted to add like backrooms and maybe like elevator part to the second floor for the wheelchair users.

The inside layout is pased on Tampere Theatre where I saw a show on like a year ago.

The 101st Marriage Proposal

(the name is based on real life love hotel which apparently ether don't exit no more or has changed it's name. I thought it was the best name ever. The love hotel's name is based on a movie?)

I dunno if it's ok to share hotel lots. So for safety just download the normal community and -> changelotzoning hotel. I didn't have any issues with just the hotel download so i'm sharing it 🤷‍♂️

SPECIAL INFO FOR HOTELS: If you want your sims to be able to sleep on the lot use this mod by numenor. I also shared some good to know things about hotel lots in normal hoods in this post -long story short- don't visit hotels with only teens (pretty sure kids are the same), you can't leave and will be stuck. So teens/kids will have to bring adults (makes sense for this build tbo). ALSO! Build this in mind of the NPC EVRYWHERE PATCH -mod. So without it the food place is just empty. This mod will give you free food and place to work.
