I love these two. They are so adorable!
Rylee asked Eve to be Kimberly's godmother and she took that seriously. I don't think anyone else was even allowed to pick up the baby the whole weekend. Eve also shared the news of her and Grisha's relationship (but forgot to until he came to pick her up so Rylee's side eye is justified.)
I'm terrible with keeping up with other households in TS4 but Rylee and Eve are actually best friends and is still a major character in their lives....despite literally never being in any posts lol.

Before getting tied down with her "big girl" job Eve had something very important to do.
Eve and Rylee had, as promised, kept in touch and either spoke, Facetimed, or texted weekly since Rylee had to leave University, but she hadn't been ready for anyone to come visit her before now.
Eve finally got to meet Kimberly Grey - and Rylee's new....friend. Eve spent a few days with them.

More graduation pics. Naturally Harley wasn't going to miss her firstborn's graduation (and Benjamin was equally excited to see Grisha walk, he's fully leaned into this much to everyone's surprise).
There were some brushes with the paparazzi and added security for the event but no crazy fan issues!
Grisha's family attended graduation but his parents took his niece back home and his sister stayed for the festivities and dinner. (Grisha's relationship with his parents is really progressing but they are still fairly distant.)

This was yesterday’s update but I’m not sure if anyone saw it. I struggle with when to post because reblogs stress me out 😩
Senior year started without a bang (thankfully). As much as Eve loved school she was ready to be done with her undergrad career.
She was still student teaching for her Education degree and only part of her credit hours were even on campus. She was ready to finish up her classes and start her life.
For the first time in his school career Grisha was starting to struggle with his classes. Not because they were hard, but because he'd become a very busy man. He'd become somewhat of a celebrity - and more so than usual. People had been interested in his music for a while, but now...now they were interested in him.
Eve and Grisha tried to keep up with their study sessions, updating each other on the going ons of life since they were hardly ever home at the same time anymore.
Hana even started coming to study time, complaining that the house was always empty. (She'd gotten pretty invested in the "will they, won't they" of her roommates life and wanted to see how it all went).
As with most things, they'd finally gotten into the perfect groove, just as the last months were flying by. Maybe it's because they all knew that, and knew that they'd never have this time again.

[Candidly, I do not enjoy the length of the Sims 4 University...I have no less than 3k pictures of Eve's life and somehow only like 25 of her senior year. We are forced into some time jumps. Please bare with us because the rest of the story is really great (if I do say so myself) but Eve has be in school for like 2342 years and I'm only doing 3 senior year posts.]
I call this one "what happens during Spring Break in Newcrest....would have stayed in Newcrest if it weren't for that pesky Watcher".
Eve took Grisha to one of the spas her mother always goes to. Very nice, discreet and suitable for upcoming celebs. It rained but Eve is going to make the best of any situation.
Grisha was....he was gloomy, he's kind of a sad boy when he's overwhelmed but we love him anyway.
Eve kept autonomously flirting with him and although he kind of liked it, he got stressed out from his unflirty trait and it was a whole thing.

This week kicked my butt. Story post will be back shortly, but I can't remember if I ever shared these.
When I had to rebuild my save (food stall corruption) I brought all my old sims back so I could rebuild the family tree and while they were in game I took family photos.
If you've already seen these...no you haven't 😂 Please enjoy Gen 1. My self sim, and sims based loosely on my family.
And my sim husband's (hypothetical) family.
And lastly my baby love.
We've come a long way y'all

Grisha has his own...reservations about the way things have been going but he expresses himself best through music.
On one hand he has a lot of shared sadness for his friend for the heavy things she's going through. On the other hand, he's over the moon that he has her back....and he feels like a monster for that.
He didn't want it like this.
They'd always been close, but something about this experience has broken down their barriers...and yet...he can't do anything about it.
Grisha has been working on this song for weeks, and every day after class Eve comes in and watches him play. She's so supportive, he can't tell her...anything. Thankfully he's just writing the music. There are no lyrics. He couldn't put words to these feelings if he tried.
Because he's been trying.
Eve says it's "hauntingly beautiful". She's right. He's thinking about letting her name this song since it's hers after all. She'd love that.
At the very end of winter he finally finished the song. It was excellent. It was the best piece of music he'd written (and he's spent the last 3 years selling enough duds to know).
"Winter's End". That's what she named it. She said something about how it took him all season and that it felt like breaking out of the roughest of times or something like that. She wasn't wrong.
It was Grisha's first hit.
Winter was finally over for Eve and Grisha. They were starting their final year of university. Everything was up in the air...but...not in a bad way. And Grisha was about to struggle with some new found (and very unwanted) fame.

The next few weeks Eve tried to work through her emotions. Quite a lot occurred over the break and start of her final year.
Her and Grisha finally addressed their feelings for each other, but decided to prioritize their friendship. She finally moved on and found a new guy that she'd started to bond with....and then he died in front of her! She spent much needed time with her family and realized how much she missed her close family dynamic....and how much Grisha fit into that.
It was getting harder to keep emotional distance from him. After all he was her best friend and roommate.
Whatever progress she made was stripped away in the following weeks. She knew this might end badly but she just enjoyed spending time with him and not focusing on everything else.
