Women in France are fighting to wear the hijab while women in Iran are fighting to not wear the hijab
This is not a fight about Islam this is not a fight about religion this is a fight about women not having the right to do whatever they want with their bodies and being killed and persecuted for it
sorry but like the way you people will scream and cry and throw up when people point out content creators are openly racists but when it becomes homophobia or transphobia you finally draw the line is so. good lord
with everyone talking abt Kyle McCarley not being brought back to mp100 for season 3 because he joined a union, also wanna bring up these tweets from Anairis Quiñones (the va for rika in jjk0) talking abt how little crunchyroll pays their voice actors
and thats not to mention that the translators for their subbed and dubbed anime are paid even less than voice actors are, and have to do so on a time crunch because of crunchyroll providing simulcast episodes
the fact that crunchyroll has gotten away with this shit for so long is genuinely disgusting and i hope that the attention Kyle McCarley has brought to crunchyrolls unwillingness to even communicate with unioned voice actors will also provide more light on how underpaid crunchyroll's voice actors and translators (and i assume their entire staff) are in the first place
