Today, on July 5th, 2021 is the third anniversary of the Banana Fish anime, in my opinion the best series ever and my favorite of all time✨

Thanks to Akimi Yoshida who created the cult manga for us in the 80’s and anime director Hiroko Utsumi and her staff, we were blessed with an amazing animation that stayed close to the manga’s original story and gave life to Yoshida’s complex and stunning characters as well as to her fascinating and terrifying plot.

Thank you for giving us one of the best anime ever created. No anime has ever made me feel so many conflicting and contrasting emotions at the same time. Ash Lynx’s fate has moved me like no other🥺😭
