today I learned that in 2008, the city council of florence overturned dante’s sentence of execution if he returned from exile. yes, dante’s inferno dante, who died in 1321.

but the funniest part of this is not that they were debating the exile of a man who has been dead for over 500 years.

the funniest part is that the vote was 19-5. five people voted to uphold dante’s exile.

The degree to which each part in this poll deviates from the "average" size (20% of total) will determine how large or small that part of our horse will be (i.e a horse with only 10% in Legs will have legs half the size of the average horse).

And to balance the universe out, the side effect was the demonic cyber truck

What really stands out to me is that Tesla had a huge, devoted fanbase of like...liberal-environmentalist technophiles. But Elon Musk is just such a rancid neo-nazi bastard that not only did he unforcedly alienate this entire market segment, he also dedicated significant production capacity to a big, stupid truck that sucks on every conceivable level and which has just been recalled. And this is the guy that people in the 2010s were hailing as a visionary genius. Like, I personally know people who were actual engineers at NASA who were calling this guy the real-life Tony Stark.
