Reminder that pansexuality means attractions to all genders, with or without a preference, which means for some pansexuals gender may or may not play a significant factor in their attraction.

This is not a new definition (dating back to 1997, as far as my knowledge goes), and it is not erasing or stealing language from anyone else.

Pansexuality is a good, valid, whole, independent orientation that is not inherently biphobic or transphobic.

I say this because today I met a fellow pansexual who did not know and refused to learn our history, and I don't want that history to be forgotten, misrepresented, or misused.
