I love how much post cotw fic has Ray and Fraser on their Adventure trying to avoid cuddling for warmth because they don't want to admit their feelings for each other but they reluctantly have to and it's all awkward and wonderful and Pining. Lot of good angst.

But might I suggest an alternative? Look, Fraser is very protective of people he loves. He loves Ray. He almost saw Ray die of hypothermia. The first night these guys set up camp, Fraser is rolling out the single sleeping bag and cheerfully explaining: "body heat is the most efficient way to reduce the chance of hypothermia-" "uh-huh" "therefore at night when it drops to nearly fifty degrees below zero, windchill unaccounted for, our best chance of survival is to be like two pods of a pea-" "two peas in a pod" "-precisely. Now, Ray, finish changing into your dry clothes and come into my arms"
