September is suicide prevention month, and this month as well as year round, so many struggle alone, when no one should have to struggle alone. People hide their pain behind smiles, and laugh off something out of place for their behavior or when they act unusually depressed. Please check on your loved ones, including those that

usually seem “happy”, I’ve read a story about the brother of a young woman who had so much, being at the top of his sports team, having an amazing girlfriend, one of the top popular kids, etc., and he still took his own life, when it looked like he had no reason to do so. Depression can look like anything, so again, please check on your loved ones, including those that usually seem positive. If you’re thinking about ending it all today, I ask that you please hold on, take a nice deep breath, and talk to someone you trust, or you can use one of the hotlines I have listed in the slides in this post, let me know if your country isn’t listed and I’ll try to help you out, you can talk to me as well, I will listen, and if I can’t help you, I’ll try to point you in the right direction for help. Please do not hesitate to call one of the hotlines, the American hotline is listed in the hashtags below, or talk to someone you trust, the people on the hotlines WILL listen, that’s why they’re their.
