sorry if this is really dumb , were trying to learn more about fusing/merging, but if two fictives fuse/merge, do they still count as fictives of both of their sources just as one alter or something, like does it still count as them being both of the sources they were before they fused, or just one source or something else? sorry if this doesnt make much sense

as someone with DID i feel like the spiderverse movies' art style really represents my brain processes? like every universe has slight differences in the art style and situations but they flow in a way where it isn't jarring and immediately noticeable, especially at first. it really is reminiscent of the slight changes in perception from different alters influences. if you blink you miss it, because you don't see those things change in front of your eyes they're a lot easier to miss. plus the canon events are like the events that are always solidified in my memory no matter who is fronting or whatever.
