same anon here. thank you that really helped ^_^ how's your experience with the battery life been? i'm currently using an ipad and my biggest problem with it (aside from it being apple...) is that the battery just drains way too fast and charges way too slow

In my experience the battery drains 15-18% per hour while I'm drawing (clip studio and Pinterest or YouTube on a floating window)

So the battery lasts a bit over 6 hours with constant use. That's usually the battery life of all the android devices I've used so I don't know if it's a lot or not, but for me I've never left a project incomplete due to the battery running out.

For the charging, I've found that it charges faster with third party chargers (I use a Motorola one) I don't know how much it takes to charge honestly, I just leave it alone for a bit, but I'm guessing not more than an hour

hellooooo, do you use the samsung galaxy tab A8 or S8? i've been meaning to get a tablet for drawing, so i'm on the hunt for artist reviews

Hi, I used to have a Samsung tab A with spen. That tablet is 8" and doesn't have a lot of processing power so I don't really recommend it for anything beyond sketching, reading and note taking (tho you absolutely use it as an art tool on a budget)

I currently use a Samsung tab S6 lite, I got that one because I liked the size, it was on sale, it's pretty and I didn't really need a super powerful tablet. I really recommend it if you want to make art anywhere and don't want to spend too much money. Clip studio works very well but big textured brushes tend to lag a bit, infinite painter works perfectly imo.

I have friends that use the S7 FE full time for art and they recommend it too. I've also heard good things about the S9 FE

I really recommend the YouTuber "Teoh on Tech" for Samsung tablet art reviews

Antonio and Raul + a little thing i wrote based on an oc promt ;;

Despite their best efforts, what is a memory your character just cannot erase?

As his body fell apart, his skin succumbing into a view of raw muscle and bones until those too gave into dust. As his mind decayed, his eyes melted and his teeth fell. As every part of him that made him human fell apart, there was one thing he would think about. One moment that seemed so distant from his current reality it seemed foolish to call this one memory his.

That one moment as he laid on the freezing dirt floor of a makeshift cabin with the only person that could turn a pile of rotting wood into a home, because Raul was his home, Raul was warmth and safety and damn did he look pretty under the candlelight.

 Antonio reached out with what once was a hand trying to grab onto something and stand up, but was soon betrayed by his own limbs.

“Sabes, momentos como estos no los cambiaría por nada” Raúl took another shot of Aguardiente before giving it back to Antonio. 

He looked so pretty under the candlelight.

Antonio couldn’t hear, couldn’t see and God knows how long it’s been since he last ate. He was dead, his body was gone, by the human understanding of life he was dead and that was it, but he couldn’t stop thinking, thinking about that moment, that moment, that stupid moment where he thought Raul could be truly his.

“ Enveces… igual quisiera que las cosas cambiarán” said Antonio, he stared at the ceiling with such conviction one could only guess it was the attempt of a drunk man to read the stars of a non existing sky. 

Raul frowned and sat up to stare directly at Antonio

“ ¿A qué te refieres con eso?” God… His eyes were so pretty.

“No se… Una casa de verdad, con estufita, ventanas que cierren, un huerto…”

“¡Tu siempre con tus ideas weonas!” Raul spat out “ Con la plata que nos agarramos ahora podemos hacer lo que se nos dé la puta gana. ¡Na’ de casitas y huertitas!, podemos irnos donde queramos y quedarnos donde queramos” He seemed able to always find a way to make Raul angry.

“ Pero esa plata no es pa’ siempre, y tampoco nos va a durar mucho si la andamos gastando como desquiciados… No sería mejor asegurarnos con un algo, un terrenito pa’ vivir, materiales pa’ armarnos algo que sea…” Raúl was still over him, standing so close the only thing he could smell was the alcohol in his breath.

“ Pa’ vivir juntos?” He entertained the idea.

“ Si eso es lo que quieres” Antonio tried to avoid Raul's gaze, He was so close he could feel his warmth. He was so close and he was so drunk.

Raul chucked 

“Bueno… Esas son ideas nomas” he started to lean away from Antonio but was quickly stopped by him.

He probably looked so pathetic, just a drunk man trying to clumsily cling onto this one moment…

but Raul looked so pretty tonight, and he was so drunk, and they were both so painfully close

Antonio gave everything into this one kiss, he prayed that it would communicate all that he felt this one expression of love was all he had to try to make Raul truly his, a desperate attempt to quickly let out years of practiced confessions, An off-key symphony of desire and necessity.

That one moment where he realized Antonio would never be his.

Maybe it's my third world country ass talking, but I much prefer the ones in the right, even if they are less "aesthetic"

They make it easier to see, dont get dim as fast as the old ones, they don't make it super obvious if you take your phone out, and generally just feel safer

perhaps some will disagree, but i think the world got worse when we changed the colour of the night

Hola!!! La verdad es que es una mezcla entre texturas y pinceles

Uso estos pinceles principalmente que tienen texturas bien realistas

Y además encima de mis dibujos pongo una textura tipo ruido o papel en modo de capa overlay o soft light

Las texturas las encuentro en internet o en la tienda de clip studio ;;;
