Thank you for an amazing Tamlin Week!
The most blessed week of the year has come and gone. Tamlin Week is officially over.
Thank you all so, so much for making Tamlin Week amazing! There is no Tamlin Week without you, the Tamlin creators. Thanks to you guys, Tamlin Week received 182 submissions, in the form of fanfiction, fanart, poetry, moodboards, and memes. We are so proud to be part of such a creative, supportive community!
What next?
We're still working on the master lists for the last few days, as well as the MEGA MASTER LIST that will contain all the other master lists. If you do not end up on the correct master list or we still haven't reblogged your content yet, please let us know! We want to make sure that everyone who participated is included!
With this massive outpouring of creation in such a short amount of time, it sure is hard to keep up with it all! Take this time to go through our blog and the master lists and really enjoy all the new Tamlin content! Reblog, reply, kudos, and comment. Making fan content is an act of love, and we want to keep supporting each other! Also, the best way to ensure you get more of the stuff you want is to tell the creator how much you like their stuff!
Real life happens, we get it! If you have anything that you REALLY wanted to make for Tamlin Week that you couldn't finish in time, don't lose hope! As far as we're concerned, every week is Tamlin Week. If you finish your creations, please tag us! We'll be more than happy to reblog and add them to the master lists.
In the next week or so, we'll publish a post-event survey for you guys to fill out. It's a chance to anonymously let us know what worked, what didn't, and how we could improve Tamlin Week for next year.

Day 3: Flower Language- To Those I Miss🌼
For the first row, his mother blue hydrangeas (apology, gratitude, understanding) pink carnations (gratitude) gardenia (innocence and gentleness) yellow chrysanthemums (nobility) sunflower (happiness)
For second row, Rhysand, black dahlias (betrayal, sadness) lilacs (white lilacs for innocence, purple lilacs for first emotions of love. i am a tamsand truther) red roses (love) red pansy (love)
For last row, Feyre, red roses (love) white dittany (love, passion) red camellia (passion, love) peach roses (sincerity) orange roses (fascination, enthusiasm)
i was going to do lucien but i ran out of sticky notes for the layered flowes🧍🏻 but for him i had yellow roses (friendship) alstroemeria (devotion, love, strength) bluebell (gratitude, everlasting love, kindness) white zinnia (friendship, lasting affection, friendship)
I didnt have a big plan for this one, i just wanted to show tamlin and his major relationships and the people who shaped him the most (imo) and who he has let down in his mind. The post it note flowers happened late in the process because i thought it would add more depth and interest. i had a lot of fun looking the flowers up! @tamlinweek

Day 3 - This time I didn't follow any theme.
Damn you mistress of my great demise.
Does it please you when an innocent cries?
My court is just embers,
Devoid of its members,
Surely, you represent all I despise.
You used my people's faith and devotion.
Constructed lies with no emotion.
Turned my own emissary,
Were affairs necessary?
Oh how you reveled in my destruction.
Remember before the curse would befall,
How my love sent you over the wall?
Your family's savior,
Yet you called me a traitor,
Even so, I loved you thorns and all.
Note: I wasn't sure whether to use love vs loved, so I decided to use past tense because it implies that he has worked through his feelings and is ready to move on.
And someone needs to reassure Tamlin that he's not a cuck.
This isn't meant to be a Feyre bashing post just Tamlin's pov of ACOWAR.

day 3: Mates
Summary: Y/n is tired of her brother and mate.

A/n: just some lil fluff for @tamlinweek hehe
enjoyy!!
Y/n wasn't sure whether her ears hurt more or her head.
She wondered if it even compared to the suffering her brother was going through.
Being the mate of the high lord of spring was fun, really. But having a brother allergic to pollen was not.
And what was worse than that?
Having a husband who loved to bully and tease your brother.
"Y/n tell him to shut up, please!"
Y/n sighed as Cassian's whine reached her ears, and she turned to find him stomping up to her, Tamlin cackling as he followed behind.
"Oh Y/n, please tell me to shut up-"
He was interrupted by Cassian's loud sneeze, followed by his angry sniff.
"I hate you!"
Y/n covered her face, looking like she was tired of the two of them, but she was just trying to hide her laugh.
"Tam, don't be mean-"
Achoo
"Cassian, do you want to get some rest?"
"Yes."
Y/n left her laughing mate behind as she led her brother to a guest bedroom, carefully designed to keep out pollen so Cassian could visit Y/n without having to greet death, as he claimed he would anytime he had to visit.
Cassian sulked through the door and into the room, pouting as he closed the door behind him, leaving Y/n shaking her head at his antics.
"Aw, poor baby-"
Y/n turned to glare at her mate, who reared back, his hands in the air in a I'm a harmless creature gesture.
"Why do you have to always bully him like that?" She mumbled as she walked closer to him, and he continued grinning.
"But it's so fun." He reached out, tugging her into his chest. Y/n buried her face in his chest, breathing deeply, feeing the golden string connecting them flare to life in glee.
"Sure."
He dropped his head, smiling against the side of her head.
"I love you, mate."
"I love me too, mate."
Y/n rolled her eyes and simply winnowed away before he could say anything.
"Hey!"

The Flowers Speak
Submission for @tamlinweek 2024. Day 3: Flower Language.
Technically a follow up to last year’s Tamlin/Tarquin series, but you don’t need to read it to understand. It’s based on Victorian flower language.
~~
Red roses mean romantic love. Tamlin’s father gave his mother a garden of red roses. Tamlin showered them in at his wedding, to show his love for Feyre.
He hates red roses now.
Poppies mean I am not free. Maybe that was why they grew alongside the roses in the last Lady of Spring’s garden. Because though she was loved, she was never free.
Amaryllis meant Pride, and they used to grow along the pathways around the Spring Manor. Now they were destroyed, because no one could be proud of what Spring had become.
Wild roses meant pleasure and pain. Tamlin found them far too often when Feyre was betraying him, tearing down his court. She took pleasure in his pain.
He destroyed all of them in a fit of anger.
Yellow Tulips meant thinking of you. He used to send them to Night right after Lucien left. He missed Lucien. He sent them hundreds of years earlier when Rhysand wasn’t there.
He no longer grows yellow tulips.
Tarquin gave him a bouquet the night after the Summer Solstice. It was a bouquet of Red Tulips. Tamlin teld them gently in his hands, eyes wide. Red tulips meant a declaration of love. There were Lavender roses too. Love at first sight.
Tamlin ran out of the room and cried when he received the bouquet.
The next morning Tamlin poured over books on the Flower language, like he had when he was a kid with Amarin and Maki. The three brothers would plot out the flower garden they would give their mates. Finally he created a bouquet of ambrosia, and gave it to Tarquin. I reciprocate your love.
Tarquin kissed him.
The only untouched part of the Spring Manor, still as perfect as before Feyre came, was Tamlin’s mother’s garden. He sat down in the field, carefully using a knife to take some of the red roses off of their stems.
He gave Tarquin a sign of his love, a gift from his mother. He could feel his mother’s approval and he found he didn’t hate red roses as much anymore.
Tamlin’s mother used to make him, Amarin, and Maki flower crowns out of Carnations on Parents day. It symbolized a mother’s love. This year for parents day he made a flower crown out of carnations from his mother’s garden and placed them on his family's grave. Well, other than his father’s.
One day he woke up in his room in Summer surrounded by White Camellias. You’re adorable, they meant. A gift from Tarquin.
Tamlin gave back Baby’s Breath, symbolizing everlasting love. Tarquin kissed him.
Cressida gave him some Holly, meaning defense and Domestic Love. Tamlin returned the favor and gave her Ivy, meaning fidelity, friendship, and affection.
Tamlin had to go back to Spring, for his work as High Lord, even if there wasn’t much to be High Lord of anymore.
He grew some more yellow tulips and sent them to Tarquin. He missed him.
Tarquin and Tamlin rarely exchanged love verbally, years of trauma stunting that.
But the flowers spoke volumes they could not.
