I’m new to celeb rps so forgive me but how exactly does claiming a discography work? For example sake, if I claimed Beyoncé, do I have to keep her album titles and song names the same or can I change them?

hi nonnie! once you claim a celeb’s discography, what you do with that is up to you! so if you want to claim beyoncé’s discography and keep the album/song titles, you can do that! if you want to come up with new titles, or move songs around to different albums, go for it!

hi hi, just a quick question!! why the +/- 10 for face claims 45+? It seems odd that someone 50 could be playing someone 40 and slightly ageist as if folks might not want to write a character in their 45 and up bracket.

hey anon! we understand the concerns you have with the rule. ultimately, the reasoning we have behind this role is not to imply people won’t want to write characters over 45, but more to encourage our members to write “older” characters and use older face claims. we find that, for faces in their forties and older, it can be hard to find resources to use for them, especially if those faces are poc. we want to make sure members have some wiggle room so they can write the characters or use the face claims they desire without being confined the same rules as younger characters and face claims, who generally have more resources, etc. if you still have some worries about that, please let us know!

there’s no getting around it. in life, there are winners and there are losers. the positions aren’t always static, but it’s an undeniable fact that there are the haves and the have-nots. many different factors come into play when differentiating the two, but it’s rare to see a success story that hasn’t experienced a certain amount of good fortune.

on savage that element of luck manifests itself in the game of chance. this is our way of bringing some fun surprises and chaos to our world -- tossing situations and ideas at characters, and seeing what comes their way! the game of chance is also directly tied to our fame levels.

every two weeks, members will be able to post a range from 1-10. the numbers correspond to different “levels” of prompts. each level has positive, negative, and neutral prompts and situations, ranging from a project review to being fired by a major label. the higher the range, the bigger the risk — but the bigger the reward too. members will be given their prompts, and will have two weeks to create some sort of post, whether it be social media, development, or an rp post, involving the scenario. participating in the game of chance will directly contribute to your character’s fame level, if you are choosing to try and advance/fall. some of the prompts even include a fame level bump or decrease!

events will also have smaller games of chance with prompts that are tied to the events themselves! you might be upsetting all predictions and snagging an academy award, or you might be tripping on the stairs for all to see -- it all comes down to chance!

do i have to participate in the game of chance?

not at all! this is optional, and while it will be tied to fame levels and gossip, it isn’t a required part of the site!

is it possible to change fame levels without participating?

yes! it’s harder to do, but certainly possible! and all members are able to purchase level-ups in the points shop!

what if i don’t like the prompt i received, or if i’m not sure what to do with it?

prompts will only be given every two weeks, unless another “draw” is purchased in the points shop. members are not required to post about the prompt they received, however if you receive a prompt and do not post about it in the two weeks, you will be not be able to receive a prompt in the following draw.

what if my character isn’t famous? can i still participate?

absolutely! quite a few of our prompts are intentionally ambiguous, so that they might fit a variety of occupations and lifestyles. you are also free to tweak the prompt to best fit your character, or ask the staff how to best adjust it. and you never know: your character could become a superstar overnight!

hi! not a stupid question, and i don’t think we’ve answered it yet. so, thank you for asking! no, you’re not required to have inspiration claims for behind the scenes people (although that is allowed!). actually, you don’t have to have inspiration for any member group, as your actors/singers/influencers could have projects and such that are entirely original. i hope this helps, and if you need any more clarification, just send us another ask!

WELCOME TO BEACON HILLS

Some dubbed it the “little show that could” and yet, no one really actually believed in it. Funded my MTV, filled with names people would either know or not know, its been deemed to fail. A show based off a comedy movie, how do you make it into a show and expect it to work? A slow start, ratings low and yet all it took was something divine. A fan base, a following, a set of people who religiously tweet and pass the show around.
