Knits by Twyla by edriss (@pretendtofly): This is a sweet, warm, quiet but powerful story about Twyla knitting gifts for Stevie and Stevie starting to pay attention. I liked thinking about what makes Twyla tick and getting to know her better right along with Stevie.

The Snap Verse series by pennilesspoet: I don’t know a thing about this universe. I gather it’s a superhero situation? But this scenario destroys me. Some people just disappear and David is one of them. Then five years later they return and realize that life has been happening without them. What do you do when your husband has grieved your loss and is somehow living in a future that doesn’t include you? What do you do when you’ve processed your grief and adjusted to your new reality the best you can, and then your husband turns up on your doorstep? It’s haunting. I love it.

Girl Talk by therapychicken: Stevie and Rachel get high and bond at David and Patrick’s wedding in this thoughtful, dialogue-only fic. Rachel has a lot to consider, Stevie has her own perspectives to air, and people are complicated. If you like this sort of rich, perceptive conversation as much as I do, go read all of therapychicken’s writing.

Summary: Carlos is at the bar when TK gets into that bar fight in 1x03

He knows it's a bad idea even as the words are leaving his mouth but the adrenaline pumping through his body spurs him forward. It also probably accounts for how he deftly ducks the first punch thrown and makes a good jab of his own into the first guy's gut. When he turns to find the second guy, though, he's clocked right in the mouth. TK tastes the blood before he feels the pain but it's there a second later, radiating down his jaw. Everything next happens so quickly and he tunes out the noise of the bar around him as he alternates between throwing and receiving punches.
