now that i think of it, we don’t know much about geto suguru and his family huh? we just know that his parents were both non-shamans but how he reacted to those two little kids and how the village treated them was not only relatable in the sense that “yes, protecting kids is common sense” but in hindsight...how was geto treated amongst his family spaces to have such a reaction of “yes, i will kill everyone in this village”? he was spiraling, so that didn’t help either.

but now that i think about it, i want to know more about geto’s family and his childhood and how did he end up in the shaman school? almost everyone (if not all) who ended up in that school have a not-so ideal home life. and gege, despite not going in depth of each character as i would like, have already put so much between the lines. from geto’s mannerism, character design, character choices, and how geto relates to those around him, relates to the space around him - there’s so much to nitpick and unpack from. crap, now i’m /really/ thinking about this, mama mia here i go again -
