“I’m far less intimidating than any parent or elder!” The fairy scoffs, “I’m 4 inches tall for crying out loud!!” Ugh Clumsies were pathetic. She’d taken far worse as an Arrival than she’d doused Lampy with! “After-all, I’m not expecting anything from him.” She sneers mischievously.

But if the lad was truly working that hard to win over Tiger Lily’s family and tribe to be that much closer with her… well, that was quite admirable. But he would have to deal with a lot worse than what she’d been dealing out either way.

“Alright then.” The Tinker relents, “Killjoy. But that doesn’t mean I can’t have any fun with him.” It was just too fun to get him all angrily fizzled up like a wired dragonfly.

Honestly, with all that Jiminy had said of the boys background, Lampwick had a terribly thin skin indeed if her meager pricks of a roses thorn were wounding him sharper than a Pirates sword.

Brutally honest thoughts on Tizzywing and her overprotective nature towards Lampwick these days ?

“Quite irritating, to be perfectly honest.” It reminded her far too much of Tinker Bells adoration for Peter Pan and just how often her affections were skewed in the boys favor in lieu of Quinnella’s affections.

It made the Tinkers wings prickle with fury and an unkempt jealousy becoming unjustly hoisted upon the other pair.

“That jackass gets what he deserves.” She sticks her tongue out brattily.

Honestly, the day a fairy can’t give a stupid Clumsy a meager pinch or bite for their idiocy… well, that would be the day the clock in Tic-Tocs belly would cease for good! Hmph! As if she were skewering him with a Pirates blade or firing a canon at him (a horrendous fate which Quinnella had saved him from more than once when visiting James).

“Tizzy should stick to crafting blustering winds - she flies so fast, she truly shouldn’t have the time to be bothering getting into another fairies business!!”

“Copper is a wonderful friend! She always brings me some clover daisy tea in the mornings after I’ve accidentally pulled another all-nighter.” Quinn chimes humorously. “She’s a very helpful fairy, always happy to lend a teaching wing a non-Tinker Talent to show them some simple fixes and repair tips.”

While the slipper and the strapped shoe were the most common choice for evening wear in the last third of the 19th century, boots did occasionally continue to appear. As with shoes, the basic evening boot was satin, either plain or featuring an embroidered vamp, usually in floral or foliate designs. Surviving examples of evening boots of the late 19th and early 20th centuries suggest, however, that those daring to wear something already outside of the ordinary often opted as well for unconventionally bold and unusual materials and trimmings. This pair of boots typifies that phenomenon: anachronistic side-lacing, novel and atypically exuberant fret and scroll motifs, and embroidery covering the entire boot, including the heel.
