You know you've fucked up right. No no I'm serious. Sure you've managed to kidnap me a rather impressive feat in itself but one you also managed to while I was in the suit. You've still fucked up. Now if you were smart you'd have just taken the suit and left me by the side of a road to be picked up or even not kidnapped me at all. After all everyone else who I've been kidnapped by certainly since I became Iron Man hasn't come out of it that well. So that should have dissuaded you. Oh don't be like that I'm not gonna be the one to deal with you. But carrying on with how you fucked up. You then, instead of SI or Pepper my CEO, choose to ring my husband to be who you are going to demand a ransom from him personally. What your expecting to walk through that door is a distraught billionaire with a briefcase full of cash who you can take as a second hostage. Terrible plan really. Because who you've actually invited into your hideout is in fact Spider-man. Surprise. I mean not only is there the enhanced strength and reflexes you have to worry about but Peter also has full access to my tech and resources and so will be able to track my position quite easily. As well as him being able add additional fire power to his suit all to use against you. And you've made him very very mad.

The days have become a blur. Tony has no idea if it has been just a few days he has been locked up, or weeks. It feels awfully long, but he doesn’t have the energy to get angry about it.

He dreams a lot, of when Ben and Harley were young. And Morgan too, but the dreams with her seem to be set in the future. A beautiful, strong and powerful young woman. Maybe an Alpha like him. It suits her, but Tony will love her regardless. He loves his whole family. And it has been a long time without smelling, tasting and touching his Omega husband.

Sometimes Tony’s dreams turn more vivid. He hears himself scream. It hurts his throat and he faintly tastes blood.

One day, Tony feels a little more lucid. A couple Alphas enter his space and he is given something. He thinks he hears a familiar voice, one he trusts, somewhere deep within.

“Tony, it’s gonna be okay. We’re fixing this today. Okay? The surgery is happening today. You won’t be awake for much of it, but I want you to know we got you. You’ll be okay. Peter and the kids love you.”

Tony feels tears gather in his eyes. He squints them shut, letting himself he handled. It feels like he is floating. Just floating into another dream about his family.

Stephen’s office is simple, but as the head of neurosurgery, he did get a bigger one. So, he has space for a couch and two comfortable chairs, in addition to his necessities like his desk and shelves.

Peter is grateful to have somewhere to lay down. He couldn’t stomach breakfast today. His husband’s surgery day.

“Dad. Papa will be okay.” Ben says from one of the chairs. Harley is in the other, reading a book.

Peter gives no reply, and just looks up at the ceiling. Harley and Ben exchange a look.

“It was very nice of Stephen to let us wait here.” Ben points out, trying to make some light conversation.

“I mean, we are technically hiding.” Harley says.

And yes, they are. Although it is not strictly forbidden for Peter to be around Tony, it still might not lool good to OPS if they knew he was at the hospital. They are quite sensitive and quick to react.

“Hmm.” Ben hums. “Stephen’s got this. I wouldn’t want anyone else to operate on my Papa.”

An awkward silence falls over the office space. Ben and Harley exchange a look once more. Their dad still hasn’t said anything.

It’s gonna be a very long 6 hours.
