Why?
Why do I fight myself? This anger and bitterness will only hurt me. Rest in the Heavenly Father. Peace, joy, loveliness. Why not choose a calm sea instead of a storm? If people hurt you, show them grace. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Be the better person and show spiritual maturity even when it means to walk away silently.

Soul Keeping
What is your soul? Why does it matter? Is it doing ok? What does it consist of? It’s the eternal side of us. Your soul is who you really are. A healthy soul is necessary for life to work. We must keep it healthy. In order to have a healthy soul, you must give it attention.
If we change and try to gain this world by grabbing everything we can in our outer world, it becomes a storm to our inner world. We are not made to be self-sufficient. The more obsessed we become with self, you neglect the soul. When taking care of something, you must understand it first. It’s like anything we care for in this world.
The will makes the decisions. It cannot do God’s will on its own, neither can the heart. {Jeremiah 17:9}
The mind contains the thoughts, emotions and feelings. It is always thinking about those three things everyday. The mind is craving peace above all. {Colossians 3:2}
Our body is our physical being here on this earth. It is a gift given from our Father in Heaven. We are caretakers of our “temples”. {1 Corinthians 6:19}
Lastly, the soul is what seeks harmony in all these areas. The soul binds them together. If any of these become corrupt, our soul becomes unhealthy and cries out for purity. We live on a planet of lost souls. Only God can heal a soul. {Mark 8:36}

As a young woman in this world, I have battled through the temptations and continue to battle through new ones. Nothing is easy. I want to give the one girl or boy, who is going through the same battles, hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You are not meant to face them alone. The devil whispered lies to me saying that I was strong enough to battle them by myself. Do not listen to that voice. The greatest wisdom I can give you is to talk to your Father in Heaven who loves you more than you can fathom. Secondly, find a elder in the church who you can gain wisdom about life. Having a wise person in your life can help keep you accountable, not only in the Word but also keeping yourself pure in your life.
One demon I have battled and continue to is the spirit of acceptance. In my teen years, I was guarded and had rules set in my life. God had placed me with great parents that knew what this world was capable of to tempt and twist the brain of a teenager. Peer pressure from the world pushes us to do things we either do things we do not mean to do or begin to develop a rebellious heart.
A rebellious heart brings nothing but pain and misery to you and to your loved ones. It’s not worth it. I went through a year of nothing but wanting to do my own thing. I did not care about what anyone thought. I wanted control.
Dear friend. I ask that before you make any decision. Ask God. He knows you. He created you and wants you to know He loves you every day. The more accountability you have in your life and make your relationship with God stronger, God will show you your purpose on this earth. Do not let this world’s lies define you. You are His Child. You are worth more than diamonds, gold or any jewels. You are His.
