I arise from the void! *slams down post* Enjoy! *crawls back into void*
Spring Ache
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part ?
Summary: With Spring melting away the cold of winter you were ready to get to work, however Techno was not…
Characters: Techno x Reader
Relationship: Parental/platonic
Pronouns: Unspecified/kept neutral
Today’s gonna be a good day. With the cold of winter finally starting to melt away you were more then ready to get things ready for farming, while you did mostly work with weapons you enjoyed dabbling in other activities like farming, keeps you self sufficient and sharp to your surroundings. Not to mention you now had a little helper with you this time… or you would if he’d hurry up and get downstairs already.
“Techno! We’ve got a long day ahead of us, I need you down here.” You call, after a minute with no response worry starts to creep in. You upstairs and knock on his door. “Techno? Is everything alright?” Only a muffled whimper is heard, you quickly open the door to see him holding his jaw in pain. You kneel down and motion for him to approach, when he does you just lightly touch his jaw and he flinches away in pain, very abnormal.
“I’ll be right back, I’m gonna check something real quick.” You stand again and leave the room, you start looking through various bookshelves in hopes of finding something that could help. Old texts… fairytales… ah hah! Research notes on the Nether, it’s a bit of an outdated book now but it should have enough information for the time being. Flipping through most of it until you reach the section about piglins, proceeding to skim through it. You mumble aloud as you read through the section, finally finding what you were looking for.
“Our investigation has shown immature piglin’s start growing out their tusks between the young years of 6-10. Observed to be painful as they must outgrow the infant tusks. Many of the young seem to favour a certain mushroom native to the Nether at this time, acting as some type of numbing agent.” You look though the rest of the page and sigh, as helpful as the information is they never clarified which type of mushroom was used to help. Not that it mattered, Techno didn’t seem in any condition for a trip and you were certainly not going to just leave him here alone. You settle for a more human approach to the problem, sitting him back on his bed and handing him a bag of ice, he eyes you questionably.
“Don’t give me that, mister. When people get bad toothaches we usually numb the pain with some ice, you’ll also only be eating soft foods for a bit so you don’t hurt jaw more.” You hear him sigh, displeased. “I’ll make you some mashed potatoes.” Instantly he perks up again, you chuckle at this. “Alright, you try to relax for I bit, okay. Once this is over we’ll go back to our regularly scheduled routine.” He nods and you ruffle his hair, to his dismay, stepping away to get started on those mashed potatoes.
A week later and your garden is coming along great, showing signs of sprouting already. Phil had come by to visit a couple days ago, more then happy to give you a hand once you explained what was happening, sadly Kristen had to say back, apparently their own child was being rowdy, something about sand. With the extra hand you were able to check in with Techno more, switching ice packs when they melted and making sure he still had something to do, his jaw may have been hurting but that didn’t mean he couldn’t do anything. Today, while spreading some fresh bonemeal you hear someone approach, looking over to see Techno.
“Hey kiddo. Wanna help spread the rest of this on the carrots for me?” You smirk when he gives you an annoyed look.
“Do I have too.” He drones, you roll your eyes.
“Farming is just as important as fighting. Also those tusks are looking great.” You quickly add the last part. Techno looks at you confused, you summon your sword as it was the quickest reflective you had and let him see the newly grown in tusks.
“Whoa. So that’s why my mouth feels weird.” He inspects himself.
“I’m sure you’ll get used to them soon enough. Now about those carrots.”
“Yeah, I’m going.” He gives a light huff and takes some bonemeal from you, you smile. Yup, today’s gonna be a good day.

[We're both lyin are we 🤣] it's been a while since I've read your DSMP works and they're still as nice as I remember, though Celestial Convergence remains unfinished to this very day lmao /nsrs
(We defiantly are lying 😆 but is okay) It makes my heart happy to hear that my writing still holds well, and yeah… I guess other things sorta kinda pushed the Celestial Convergence story to the sidelines, but who knows what could happen or pop up this year 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm doing alright! It's been like 1-2 (maybe 3?) years since we last talked, a lot of things happened (and I was shocked you're still active, definitely did not almost jumped at the notif and said "hey wait Pri is still active?!". Yep definitely not.)
It’s defiantly been awhile since we last chatted, I feel that. But yeah still active and around, not as much as I used to be but I’m still here ☺️ (also totally didn’t jump out of my chair when I saw your notification with “-❄️ anon not anoning” Absolutely not. That’d be crazy.)

I didn’t know if you were still on tumblr but I binged your dsmp series (plus raising a blood god) and loved it! I wanted to know if you were wanting to do more on that series though? To when techno starts abolishing governments and reader goes to the smp with Phil?
Believe me I am nowhere near wanting to stop writing for that series, it’s one of the few things my writer blocked mind still goes back to. I promise there’s defiantly more to come for that series, abolishing governments and all

Hi, been a while since my last post, I assure you I’m not gone, just been dealing with major writers block but posts will still be coming (at a slower pace, but that’s besides the point). Also I’d love to do some requests for the QSMP
I hope you have a good morning, afternoon or evening wherever you are 😁
Also first post of the new year woooo!!!

A Visit From…… Dawn of the 16th
Relationships: platonic
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
Surprised I came back to this series? Yeah… me too
Two months of war preparations felt more like three years to you and yet it also seemed to zip by like a blur it was almost dizzying. Having many people come in, grab what they need, pay you and leave without much conversation was what most visits came down to nowadays. The only notable things you could pick up on over that time was that Bad and Skeppy along with a few friends established their own faction they called the Badlands, Quackity finally standing up for himself and leaving Schlatt, Dream was happily fanning the flames of war and chaos by telling the Pogtopians about a traitor in their midst and Wilbur was still slowly but surely descending farther into madness. You tried talking and reasoning with Wilbur but it was a harder task to accomplish when he spends most of his time in Pogtopia now. The only people who still came by the most were Fundy, acting as a great assistant collecting ingredients for you, Techno, it still surprises you the amount of materials he brings for his own personal collection of potions. Finally there’s Tommy, at first he didn’t come by that much but he’s started sleeping over at your place again, his excuse being that Pogtopia’s gotten too stuffy feeling for him, you can’t help but feel there might be another reason to it you just couldn’t place what.
Evenings approaching fast and you were packing away the new potions for Wilbur you’d managed to create in these few months, they weren’t exactly “stable” so to say, but Wilbur insisted you deliver them to him. With a sigh you get up and make for the door, jumping slightly at the knock on the other side.
“Can I help you?” You ask, opening the door with slight caution.
“I think that’s the fastest you’ve ever answered me before.” To your shock it’s actually Wilbur at the door.
“Oh! Well… I mean I was about to leave to deliver those potions you wa-”
“You did make those! Wonderful!” He cuts you off, letting himself in.
“Yeah, and I heavily reiterate that they’re still not exactly completed, with all this pushing to finish it I never got around to fully test them. Some might do more then their supposed to and some might now even do anything at all.” You explain.
“Yes, yes. That’s all fine and good, we’ll test it plenty on the field tomorrow.” Wilbur waves off.
“That soon!? I thought you’d take more time to prepare.”
“What and let Schlatt’s forces get the upper hand? Not a chance! The war ends tomorrow, one way or another…” He trails off, an ominous tone lingering in the air for a moment before he shakes himself off. “Well, no better time like the present! I’ll be taking those potions now.” He quickly jumps back to a more chipper tone.
“Wilbur…” You let out a sigh as you finally get his attention. “You shouldn’t… I don’t think…” There was so much you wanted to say but just couldn’t find the words to say it anymore. “After this is done and you guys win, because you will win! You promise you’ll come over and tell me all about it, right?” It goes silent between the two of you for a long time, both of you just staring at the other.
“I… promise…” He says half heartedly. You should’ve stopped Wilbur from walking out the door, should’ve tried harder to reason with him, should’ve kept those potions to yourself… but that wouldn’t make a difference to anything, because both of you already knew his promise was an empty one…
It’s well into the evening and sleep was easily evading you, as you stare blankly at the ceiling. You sigh and get out of bed hoping that grabbing some water might ease your racing mind. Instead a suddenly knock on your door has you’re mind and heart racing at who could possibly be coming by this late.
“Hello?” You open the door with slight caution.
“Just the alchemist I was hoping to talk with.” Dream says, as if he was expecting someone else at the door.
“It’s late so let’s make this quick. What do you want?” You raise an eyebrow his way.
“See this is why I like you,” Dream starts, inviting himself inside. “You’re down to business and to the point, no need to sugarcoat anything.” He casually places his arm around your shoulder. “I’ll make this quick. What side are you giving your support to?” You give him a very confused glance at the question.
“Dream, you know I don’t do the whole ‘choosing sides’ thing.”
“True as that may be its pretty clear who you’re showing more favour towards. I mean heck, you made a whole new potion for Wilbur just because he asked you to. That doesn’t seem like something you do too often.” You feel his eyes bearing into you through the mask.
“What are you getting at? Sure I was able to throw together a sort of portable TnT potion, but the results are still few and far between what I’m usually satisfied with.” You cross your arms unamused.
“Fair enough, but that still doesn’t answer why you’ve heavily limited your services to Manberg. And as a hired hand for Schlatt I’d like to know why.” Dream says with a shrug.
“Forgive me for being hesitant with wanting to continue business with someone who very clearly threatened my life.” You start sarcastically before shifting to a more bitter tone. “And why are you helping Schlatt? It can’t be just because you want to fan the flames of war, you usually want something else out of it.”
“As sharp as ever, I see.” Dream then pulls you closer and looks around as if to check if anyone else was nearby before continuing in a much more hushed tone. “You’re right, Schlatt bought me over with something I just couldn’t refuse.”
“And that would be…?” You trail off, silently cursing yourself for your ever needy curiosity but still hoping for an answer.
“A revival book.” Dream emphasizes, you practically shove him off of you as you step away from him in shock.
“You’re joking, right? Something like that is insanely powerful and rare to boot, there’s no way he actually had one.” You desperately try not to raise your voice, worried it might alert your companions, who were sleeping over in the spare room for the night.
“It’s true… I’ve got it right here.” Dream then pulls out said revival book, as if it wasn’t a big deal to have in his possession in the first place. You stare dumbfounded at the item and can just hear his smirk when he speaks again. “You know, I’m more then happy to share this knowledge with you… so long as you’re willing to return the favour.” This somewhat breaks you out of your shocked trance, finally catching on to why he was so open about the book with you.
“You know what? I’m good. You keep your secret knowledge and I’ll keep mine.” You decline as gently as you could.
“Well it was worth a shot.” Dream just gives a shrug. “While I’m here, you mind if I grab a few potions for the road? All for personal use, I promise.”
“So long as you can pay for it.” You’re quick to jump into business mode. Dream nods, grabs what he needs and hands you a fair amount of emeralds and gold to pay for it before he’s out the door. Maybe now you could catch some sleep…
You never did catch any sleep, with so much rattling around your head paired with the new information that Dream had a revival book you just couldn’t get to sleep. The first rays of the dawn shone through your window, your house was extra quiet today, everyone had already left for the finally battle between Pogtopia and Manberg. You, of course, were taking no part in the fight but stay home wasn’t helping ease your nerves so you decide to stretch your legs and go for a walk.
The autumn air was crisp as you walk though the forest surrounding the area, doing anything and everything to calm your racing mind. The cad of some crows didn’t exactly help the situation tho, making you look up at the birds sitting amongst the branches. Now you weren’t entirely one for superstition, however the sudden appearance of so many crows in the area certainly left an uneasy feeling in your gut. That’s when you saw a large murder of crows flocking around a specific area up ahead, part of you wanting to turn back and head home the other part pushing you forward to investigate this strange occurrence.
As you draw closer to the area swarmed with the dark feathered birds you come to a complete halt when you see someone walking casually among them, heading towards Manberg. It wouldn’t have struck you as too odd, after all you’ve met many interesting characters before, but the large crow-like wings were a bit off putting, you just couldn’t place why until you remembered the old tales of a man chosen by Death herself to be her champion. There was no way this was that exact angel… was it? You don’t get time to think to much on it when the cawing of another crow catches your attention, this was staring at you, you stare right back which makes it let out another loud caw before swooping down and snatching a piece of gold from your pocket.
“Wha- hey!” You try to catch the bird but it dodges you and flies off. “Little thief.” You huff to yourself. You take in your surroundings again noticing the man you saw earlier was nowhere in sight now, not sure if that was a good or bad thing you decide you’ve had enough fresh air and head back home.
“There’s a saying, by a traitor… It was never meant to be…”
You’ve never felt so jumpy in your life, first you couldn’t sleep thinking about everyone involved with the war, then Dream revealing the book, now it was the possible sighting of the Angel of Death, while you still weren’t sure if you were just hallucinating it also couldn’t just be some coincidence. You felt ready to explode from all this anxiety, seems you weren’t the only one as a loud yet distant explosion is heard, enough to bring a slight shake to your home. Instantly your out the door, booking it in the direction of L’Manberg, stopping by the edge of a cliff that overlooks the little country… or what was left of it anyways.
“Oh Wilbur,” you sigh discouraged, “what did you do…”
I regret nothing

Maybe Eret for the babysitter shenanigans??
Thank you so much for the ask 😁 It sure has been a while since I last posted anything (*cough* almost 3 months now *cough*), but I promise I’m still around and writing, just been taking things extra slow lately
Young Heir
Summary: You just wanted some time for yourself but instead get dragged off to aid the SMP’s king…
Characters: Eret x Reader, feat. Foolish
Relationship: platonic
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
You made sure your daily chores were done early today so you could kick back and relax with a new book you’ve been dying to read, and yet just as you’re settled and about to crack open the book the sound of large footsteps shakes the entirety of your house. You hoped nothing would break from such shaking before the it stops and there’s a minute pause before frantic knocking is heard. With a sigh you place the book into your inventory and get up to see who was there. You barely have a chance to say hello before you’re practically snatched from the doorway and dragged away from your house.
“Whoa! I don’t appreciate the kidnapping! What’s with the rush?” You shout unamused, trying to pull away from their iron grip. They halt their movements and you now get the chance to notice the totem body and shark-y head.
“Sorry! Sorry! I just sorta grabbed you in a panic, but I really really need your help with Eret.” Foolish apologizes.
“My help? What for?” You ask as you both start walking at a much less panicked pace. (similar to Bad, I headcanon that Foolish can shift his size at will)
“Well…” Foolish chuckles nervously, “while I was helping Eret, we were discussing about some new expansions for the historical museum, and we sorta got on topic about that strange… ummm… moss? I think? That’s been appearing around the SMP.”
“Oh no… alright say no more, I get it.” You sigh, rubbing at the bridge of your nose. “But why my help? You know how to take care of children, you have two of them.” You point out.
“Yes, and they’re doing very well,” Foolish smiles proudly. “But no, the reason I need your help is because I can’t find Eret anywhere.”
“YOU LOST THEM!”
“It’s not my fault! I swear! I got distracted when Quackity asked if I was free to return to the casino and…” He trails off feebly. “Please, I really need someone I know for a fact is trustworthy to help.”
“Okay! Look you already dragged me out of the house and we’re basically to the castle so there no harm in helping.” You sigh
“Thank you thank you thank you.” Foolish smiles giddily, you chuckle to yourself at his own childish antics as you continue towards Eret’s castle…
“I’ll start by checking to make sure Eret didn’t somehow get outside in the time I was gone. You could check the throne room, I guess, that’s where I last saw him.”
“Sounds good to me.” With that the two of you split up, you immediately heading for the throne room. Stepping in you take a second to admire the decor, from the fine craftsmanship of the structure itself, to the multicoloured stain glassed windows and of course the throne resting elegantly at the far end of the room. Your gawking comes to a halt when you pick up the sound of shuffling, it was faint but it was there, that’s when you noticed the little head peeking around one of the curtains before darting behind it again. You smirk at the idea popping into your head.
“Now where oh where could Eret be? Maybe he’s by the throne?” You walk over and pretend to look around the throne, you hear a soft giggle. “Nope, not there. Hmmm, maybe she’s on the ceiling?” You have to stop yourself from laughing as you look up. “Darn it, not there either. Where could they be? Oh well, guess I’ll just have to walk away and look somewhere else.” You say this slowly as you walk away from the throne towards the curtains, pausing a moment before pulling them back. “Found you!” A surprised but excited shriek comes from Eret before it quickly turns to laughter.
“Again! Again again!” He claps.
“I don’t know, Foolish had a hard time finding you the first time, that’s why he got me to help.” You sigh, she pouts a little but it doesn’t last long as they start tugging your pants in an attempt to get you to follow him. “Oh? You want me to come with you this time? Hmm… alright, I see no harm in it.” You say this more to yourself then to Eret, nonetheless you follow her to a room full of different clothing.
“Dress!” They bounce on his heels pointing to the array of clothing.
“You wanna play a bit of dress up with me?” You already knew the answer but the eager nod she gives you is that extra confirmation.
You completely lost track of time while modelling the many different outfits in Eret’s closet. From suits to dresses to casual wear, you tried them all chuckling to yourself at how much bigger their own clothing looked on Eret. Now the two of you, dressed to the nines so to speak, were enjoying a lovely little game of tea party, making sure to be “extra proper” by sticking your pinkies out the entire time.
“Shall that be one sugar or two my good friend?” You ask in an exaggerated accent, this earns a small chuckle from Eret as they hold up two fingers. “A splendid choice my good friend.” You’re about to continue your game when the door bursts open, an almost panicked looking Foolish being the culprit. You all stare at each other for what feels like forever. “Right… Foolish, I forgot you were looking for Eret…” You trail off awkwardly before, “you… uhh… you wanna join our tea party?” He looks at you bewildered for a second before calming down.
“…… sure.” Is all he says. You all sit together and continue with your tea party, you and Foolish ending up having a little contest to see who can make the funniest accent.
“My verdict is… you both sound ridiculous.” You pause at the voice, having gotten so wrapped up in your little competition you failed to notice Eret was finally back to normal.
“Eret! Glad you’re yourself again… I guess you’ll be wanting the outfit back.” You say, heading over to change out of the outfit you had been borrowing.
“Actually, you can keep it if you want.” Eret waves off like it’s nothing.
“Really?! But I couldn’t-”
“It’s fine, (y/n), really. I don’t wear that one a lot anyways and it looks good on you. Think of it as a thank you for the help.” Eret encourages.
“Umm, thank you. I promise I’ll take real good care of it.” You pause awkwardly for a second. “Well, I guess I should head home. Good luck with your museum renovations.” You wave to them as you collect the rest of your things and head out.
“Thanks again for the help! And sorry for dragging you out of your home!” Foolish thanks and apologizes, you wave him off as a way to say that it was fine and continue your journey back home.
……… or you would’ve if not for one complication………
I hope you all enjoyed! Let me know who you’d like to see the childish shenanigans of next 😁

A Day Meant to Celebrate
Well… it wasn’t finished as soon as I had hoped but at least it’s finished now! (It is currently 12:30am, sleep? Don’t know ‘em)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part ?
Summary: It’s been a year since you first took Techno under your care and you wanted to do something special for the occasion, things don’t go as planned…
Characters: Techno x Reader
Relationship: parental, platonic
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
They say time flies when you’re having fun, and you can sure vouch for that, in fact you didn’t even realize how much time had gone by until you looked at your calendar. You grab a few things from your chests and sort your inventory a bit before you check in on Techno.
“Hey kiddo, how do ya feel about going on a little errand run with me?” You ask nonchalantly. He looks up at you curiously from the blocked he’s playing around with.
“Sounds boring.” He says blankly. You figured he’d say that, you didn’t exactly word it to sound interesting after all.
“Well good thing for me it wasn’t actually a question, you’re still coming along.” This earns you a soft glare from him. “Don’t give me that look. You’re too young to stay here by yourself anyways.” You reply matter-of-factly.
“Why would you ask that if I don’t really get to choose.” He huffs crossing his arms.
“You ask a fair question, and like I said you’re too young right now to stay home alone. But I promise when you get older you can make your own decisions without the need of some authority figure… except for me, of course, because I’m your sensei.” You quickly add the last part while ruffling up his hair, he playfully swats at you in retaliation. When you’re done messing around you both make your way out the door.
As the two of you walk along the path you decide to fill the calm silence by playing a bit of eye spy with Techno, helped give some extra entertainment and keep his spatial awareness sharp. When the village finally came into view Techno picks up the pace.
“Come on, the sooner you finish your boring errands the sooner we can leave.” He says, trying to drag you along, instead you lift him into your arms keeping an even pace, he snorts in displeasure.
“If you can promise me you’ll behave we can head to our favourite lookout spot later. (I almost wanted to call it lookout landing… Zelda has taken over my life 😅)” His eyes light up and he nods in agreement. “Alright, this shouldn’t take too long…”
You regret making that earlier comment because boy did the universe decide to really ruin your day. It started out fine, sure, but the second you saw Tarlin and Jett patrolling the area you should’ve finished your trade and left, of course they just had to spot you and Techno before you could and of course they knew something was suspicious, now there was no running from the commotion they decided to stir up.
“So…” Jett sneered. “Looks like you were hiding something from us after all. And here I thought you were better then that.”
“That’s your fault for assuming something like that.” You reply unbothered, easily angering him, Jett always had a short fuse and you were always willing to push his button should the opportunity arise.
“Why don’t we make this easy for everyone and you hand that thing over.” Tarlin tries to resolve, you being very displeased they’d refer to Techno like he was just an object rather then a living, breathing being.
“First off, HE has a name and second, if you try coming near my son I’ll make sure you suffer a most painful demise before hand delivering your souls to the goddess of death myself.” You hiss, hand twitching above your sword but holding back from summoning it. There’s a tense silence between the three of you, onlookers backing away and watching the scene play out cautiously. Jett looked more then ready to brawl and you’d be happy to oblige if not for Tarlin being a buzzkill and backing the two away.
“Mark my words, you’ll regret betraying us.” They say ominously, you roll your eyes.
“Please, you even try and it’ll be the last thing you do.” You bite in reply, quickly scooping Techno up and making your leave. There’s a long silence as you make as much distance from the village as you can, still tense from the whole encounter.
“Wh-What did they mean by betraying them?” Techno asks, pulling you back to reality.
“That is a long story that happened a long time ago.” You say with a sigh. “But I didn’t really betray anyone, my opinions and morals just don’t match theirs so that instantly makes me their enemy.” You try to explain as simply as possible.
“Oh…” He trails off, clearly still curious about your mysterious past.
“Maybe when you’re a little older I’ll tell it to you.” You offer. “For now why don’t we head to our lookout spot, I’ve got a surprise waiting for you.” This perks his mood back up again at the mention of a surprise.
The rest of the walk is a lot more calmer then earlier and you reach the little cliff side overhang that has a gorgeous view of the landscape below and the best part is that it isn’t too far from your house. You set Techno down and gesture for him to close his eyes, he gives you a confused yet curious look before covering his eyes. You put your hands together, hovering over the item in your inventory.
“Alright open your eyes.” You say smiling, when he does you open your hands summoning the crown you crafted for him. He stares in awe, eyes sparkling and subtle little oinks of joy coming from him at the golden headpiece. He doesn’t instantly take it from you like you anticipated he would, instead tracing a finger over the jewels you had embedded into the design. “I take it you like it?” You ask more rhetorically, earning a pleased snort from the hybrid. You chuckle softly as you carefully place the crown onto his head. “There we go. I want you to see this as a sort of symbol, so that no one can ever tell you what you are or boss you around to do their bidding. You are in charge of your own destiny, no amount of hunters or haters will ever get to change that.” You state proudly, he puffs out his chest just as proudly before the crown slides down over his eyes making you both share a small laugh.
“It’s a little big.” He comments trying to push it back up, you hum contently as you help adjust it a bit so it wouldn’t slide around too much.
“Don’t worry,” you give him a small boop on his nose. “You’ll grow into it.”

A Rival’s Arrival
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part ?
Summary: You’re training when you get a surprise visit…
Characters: Techno x Reader, feat. Puffy, Dream and Foolish
Relationships: parental, platonic
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
Another swing of his weapon and another easy block by you but you had to give him credit, he was quite the natural in combat.
“Not bad, next time I recommend trying to pull a fake out attack before hitting from behind.” You instruct.
“It won’t be a fake out if you know it’s coming.” Techno deadpans, you chuckle.
“I know that and you know that, but on an actual battlefield your enemy won’t know that.” You explain, he just shrugs and you continue your training. You’ve been outside sparring with Techno a lot longer then you normally would, the crisper air making for perfect conditions as it acted as a natural cooler so you didn’t have to worry about overheating. Although with the autumn weather starting you couldn’t help but feel like you were forgetting something…
“Ah!” You’re caught off guard by the sudden shove against your leg, making you stumble to the side a little before catching yourself. “Wha-hey! Dream!” You playfully glare at the giggling culprit.
“Ha! I got you right where I want you, now victory is mine!” He exclaims, charging at you with his wooden sword. You chuckle and wait for the “final strike” but the clatter of another weapon tells you otherwise, looking down to see Techno block Dream’s attack, knocking him down. Techno let’s out an angered growl, glaring daggers at Dream.
“Whoa! Hey, take it easy, it’s alright, everything’s okay.” You instantly step in, remembering how protective and aggressive piglins could get if someone hurts their family.
“But he hit you!” Techno points accusingly at a confused Dream.
“I know, I know. But I’m alright… Besides,” you give him a smirk, “it’ll take a whole lot more then a simple shove and wooden sword to take me down.” Techno still looked defensive but he does calm down enough to step away. “So, I take it you ran ahead of your mom just to say hi?” You look back to Dream as he gets off the ground.
“Ummm… no?” He looks around before pointing to the two other approaching figures. “See! She’s over there.” You let out a soft chuckle before heading over to greet Puffy.
“Hey! Puffy! Long time no see.” You greet once she’s closer.
“Hey (y/n), hope you don’t mind the sudden visit.” She greets back.
“Nah, it’s fine.” You wave it off. “I should’ve realized you’d be coming by now that autumn is setting in. How was the voyage?”
“The voyage went great, as usual.” Puffy says proudly.
“That’s awesome. Oh! And I see little Foolish isn’t so little anymore either. You’ve grown quite a bit since I last saw you.” You look down at Foolish who’s partially hiding behind Puffy’s leg. You wave at him with a smile, he waves back with a small smile of his own.
“Sensei? Who are these people?” You hear Techno ask, also gaining Puffy’s attention as she looks over at him.
“Hello, I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Puffy, and you are?” She introduces herself, kneeling down to meet his level, Techno edges closer to you warily.
“It’s alright, she’s a friend.” You reassure. He still settles for staying closer to you, it’s almost laughable considering how defensive he was earlier with Dream. “This is Techno, I found him alone in the Nether and been caring for him since.” You explain, Puffy gives a somber look before her attention is brought to Dream calling for her.
“Mom! Mom! I made a new friend!” He says excitedly, bounding over to her.
“That’s great…” Her voice trails off on you as your attention is directed to the hybrid pulling at your leg, silently asking for you to kneel down.
“What is it?” You ask quietly.
“I am not friends with him.” Techno huffs, you chuckle softly.
“No? But you seemed to be getting along so nicely before.” You joke, he looks at you unamused making you laugh again. “I’m kidding, but trust me Dream isn’t that bad a kid, he’s a really good fighter, a little ambitious in combat but good.”
“Heh? You think he’s good? Please, I could beat him easily.” Techno waves off like it’s nothing.
“Oh?” You raise an amused eyebrow. “Well if you’re so confident, care to put it to the test?” He gives an interested look, you then stand and walk back over to Puffy. “Say, Puffy. What do you say on letting Dream have a sparring match Techno?”
“That’s a great idea! Dream really needs to practice more with others at his level.” She says with a smile and a nod, Dream seemed just as thrilled.
You lead everyone back over to your training area, which was a nice flattened area of the field you set up a few weapon stands for various weapon training. You mark the ground in certain areas to define were the sparring zone would be before grabbing some wooden swords for the boys, making sure they were equal in quality and durability before handing them over.
“Alright, we want a fair fight here, so you must use your weapons to knock your opponent over. There will be four rounds before we decide a winner.” You announce, slowly raising your hand. “On my mark…” The two ready themselves, you could practically see the fire in both their eyes, a please smirk on your face at the already budding rivalry.
“Begin!”
Am I cruel for leaving it there? Idk, maybe, but I’ll just leave the rest to your own interpretation/imagination

Hi!! Could you do Karl for the Babysitters Guide series? Have a good day/night!
I would love to! Karl is such a sweet, wholesome guy so of course I had to write this
Sweet Cuddlebug
Summary: You’ve been struggling on one of your projects for a while now, hoping some fresh air will help you feel better instead you find a very clingy Karl alone on the side of the road…
Characters: Karl Jacobs x Reader
Relationship: platonic
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
You needed a break and some fresh air, your current project was proving to be tough and not wanting to completely lose all your sanity you figured a nice walk would help. It seems you’ve forgotten just where you live and that peace and quiet can be quite the rarity, the growing sounds of crying evident of that. You were unsure if this was some sorta trap but pushed the thought aside with how distressed the mysterious source sounded. When you finally locate said source of the sound you’re simultaneously surprised and unsurprised at a child version of Karl sitting at the side of the road.
“Karl? Now how did you get all the way over here?” You question aloud, gaining his attention. Immediately the crying turns into softer whimpers and he reaches up for you. Without hesitation you pick him up and give him a boop on the nose earning you a small giggle, you smile and do it again making him brighten up a little more, you do it one more time and Karl goes from a sad whimper to elated laughing. “Alright, let’s get you somewhere safer.” You say, turning around to head back home.
You enter your home and set Karl down on the couch, you weren’t sure how long he’d been out there but you assumed a snack might cheer him up more. Grabbing some apples and carrots you’re about to cut them into smaller pieces when you feel weight lean against your leg, glancing down at Karl now clinging to you and staring at you with big doe eyes.
“Can I help you?” You ask, semi-sarcastically.
“Up, up, up.” Karl reaches up to you making little grabby hands. You can’t hold back a smile at how adorable he looked.
“You want up? Don’t you want a snack first?” To your surprise he shakes his head and continues reaching for you.
“Up, up, up.” He starts bouncing in place. Who were you to deny such a request so naturally you place what you’re holding down and lift him up, instantly he snuggles against you.
“Aww, you just wanted some cuddles, huh? Are you a little cuddlebug?” You give little Eskimo kisses making him giggle happily. Your day was filled with lots and lots of cuddles, you just couldn’t say no to Karl’s puppy eyes, not that you complaining either.
When you were finally able to get him to draw you take the opportunity to stretch out a bit, returning shortly after to see several strange drawings by him. One looked like a clock with swirling patterns around it, easy enough to figure out, what really stuck out to you was the pictures of a strange clocked figures and some sort of angel(?) with XD on its face, or mask you weren’t too sure.
“Whatcha drawing there Karl?” You ask, though you already knew you weren’t going to get an answer. Confirming this when he says nothing and reaches for you again, easily taking the hint you lift him into your arms again. As he happily cuddles against you, you’re still eyeing the pictures he drew wondering why they made you feel uneasy, especially the one of the angel, if that was even what it was. You don’t get to dwell on the feeling much longer when a familiar whirling sound hits your ears and you quickly set Karl onto the ground, in a quick puff he’s back to normal but still looking at you with puppy eyes.
“Hey, why’d you stop?” He pouts.
“Sorry, didn’t exactly feel like dropping you now that you’re yourself again.” You chuckle. “Why? Did you still need more cuddles?” You question sarcastically.
“Yes.” He answers sincerely.
“Umm… I’m sure if you head home Sapnap will be more then happy to cuddle with you.” You suggest.
“Well yeah, but I need cuddles to help hold me over before the long journey home. Please?” He stares at you expectantly, you sigh.
“Oh alright. Even now I still can’t say no.” You cave, muttering that last part. Karl smiles brightly and happily wraps you in a hug, you return the gesture with a smile of your own.
Who’da thought that all you needed to relax from that big, tough project wasn’t simply a walk but some well deserved cuddles from a friend.
That was a fun one 😁 I hope you guys liked it too. Feel free to let me know whose childish adventures you’d like to see next

Language Lessons
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part ?
Summary: You’ve been teaching Techno how to speak English for a little over a month now, everything’s been going well so far, then there’s a knock at your door…
Characters: Techno x Reader
Relationship: parental
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
“Now, what do you say when you greet someone?”
“Hi.” You give a playful eye roll at the blunt answer. You’ve been teaching Techno English and he’s caught on to it pretty quickly, much to your delight, although there was still a lot for him to learn.
“Okay, while that’s technically true, I was looking for a bit more then that.” You say with a soft sigh.
“Hello… greetings… salutations… good day to you…” He lists off several other greetings he’s learned.
“Alright, alright. I’ve heard enough.” You hold your hand up to pause him, seeing the smug smile on his face. “I don’t recall teaching you this much sass, mister English major.” You playfully tease, ruffling at his hair, he swats at your hands in retaliation.
“Ah, stop.” He whines still trying to swat your hands away.
“Who needs to stop what? Come on, use your words.” You encourage still messing with his hair.
“Sensei, stop…… please.” You could see he was trying to look for the right words to use, you stop your actions and grab a hairbrush.
“Okay, that’s good enough for now. Why don’t we fix up that rats nest.” Now he’s the one giving a playful glare but nods and lets you kneel down to start to carefully brush the knots out. You halt your actions when you hear a loud knock at the door, your grip on the brush handle tightening. You didn’t invite anyone over, and even if it was a surprise visit from one of your friends, no one would’ve knocked that harshly. You stand, instinctively shifting to a more defensive stance as you stare down the door, another set of knocks are heard, slightly harsher then before.
“Sensei?” You look over at Techno, who also took a more defensive stance.
“Upstairs.” You simply say, voice low and firm.
“But-”
“Now!” You approach the door, taking one more look over your shoulder to confirm that Techno had indeed listened before opening the door to two individuals you really hoped not to see.
“Good morning, (y/n).” The first says blankly
“Jett, Tarlin… Well I’d say my morning was good, until you showed up.” You reply just as blankly.
“Ahem,” Tarlin clears their throat, you raise an unamused eyebrow their way. “It’s come to our attention that you may have-”
“I’m going to stop you right there.” You’re quick to cut them off. “I don’t care what you’ve heard or what it is that makes you think you have any power around here, but let me make this clear: Try anything stupid and you will deeply regret it.” You say dangerously, giving a sharp look to both of them.
“Is that a threat?” Jett puffs out his chest to try appearing more intimidating.
“Well that depends.” You start nonchalantly, leaning in uncomfortably close to them, making Jett step back a little. “You feeling threatened?” He grabs his sword’s hilt on instinct, you just laugh. “I dare you to pull that on me, see how far you get.” You say, ready to pull your own sword from your inventory.
“Please now, we’re trying to be civil here.” Tarlin intervenes pulling Jett away, you roll your eyes.
“If this is your idea of civil then what’s being uncivil look like?” You chuckle to yourself, neither of them seemed to like your joke. Your expression hardens again and you give a firm glare. “I’ll say this one more time. Try anything stupid and you will deeply regret it, because as far as you should be concerned I’m the most dangerous thing around here. Now get off my property before I make you for trespassing.” With a low grumble and some nasty stink eyes the two begrudgingly take their leave. You close the door with a relived sigh and finally acknowledge the little eavesdropper. “You know you’re lucky those two aren’t very observant, otherwise things could’ve been a whole lot more complicated.” You turn and look up the stairs at the young hybrid peeking around the corner.
“……” It’s barely audible but you catch him trying to say something, ushering him over to you.
“You okay?” Your tone lightens up and your expression softens into one of concern.
“I… I know them. I saw them before.” He spits out, hands balling into fists.
“Let me guess, the Nether?” He gives you a a low snot and curt nod as response. “Yeah… sadly I’m not surprised.” You look away from him a second tensely but quickly relax again, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Don’t you go worrying about them now. I promised I’d keep you safe from people like them, and I intend to keep that promise.” Your words of reassurance help relax Techno more.
“Wait… If you’re going to protect me, who’ll protect you?” He questions.
“Hmm, good question… I guess, myself?” You shrug, Techno shakes his head in disapproval.
“No, not good. I’ll do it.” He says as if agreeing with himself.
“Really?” You raise an amused eyebrow at him. “I don’t know, there’s a lot of danger out there for a small piglin like yourself.”
“Then I’ll get big and strong, then no one can hurt us.” He places his hands on his hips triumphantly, you let out a quiet laugh with a side smile.
“Well if that’s the case, I’d say our English lesson is finished. Why don’t we move on to some combat training, yeah?” You offer, your smile getting bigger at the excited nod he gives you.
