I kind of wish J.K. would stop with all of these updates. Don’t get me wrong I love Harry Potter and always will but it comes to a point where I just think she should just leave everything else to the imagination of fans. Like with these new wizarding schools I couldn’t help but cringe because they’re so poorly done. Idk if she’s just having withdrawls or what, but she either needs to leave her world alone or write new books.

To be honest I’m not that excited over Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, when Harry’s story came to an end I was hoping for a prequel yes, but for something more obvious like The Marauders and I was hoping for a tv show, Rowling choosing to do a movie based off of a magical creature encyclopedia annoys me, like that entire movie was pulled out of her ass and no one asked for it.

I love JK. I could never, ever, ever hate her. She’s my hero. She gave me so much hapiness I think a life wont be enough to thank her.

But I can’t stand this time of the year when she apologizes a death. Not with Lupin

I can’t describe what Lupin meant to me. Seriously I cant find the words to properly write down everything that him and his relationship with Harry made me feel when I was younger. I can’t write down how much happy I was when I knew he and Tonks were having a kid.

So, JK, I love you. But no matter how many years pass, how many  tweets you can write apologizing his death, I can’t forgive you on this one. And I love you, and understand you.

Bucky was- he was perfect. He’d sidle in amongst the wallflowers at dance halls and sweep every girl too comely to get a date off of their feet. He carried groceries for old Mrs. Bennet across the hall, and left a bowl of milk out on the windowsill for the tabby cat that sometimes came around. He worked extra shifts at the docks in the rain just so I could have my medicine. I kept getting fired for taking too many sick days, and he never once complained about it. You’ve gotta understand, he was like a light in the depression, it was like he infected everything with happiness and smiles and contagious laughter, and when he was gone, you missed him the same way we missed being warm when we were in Germany. We were at war, you know, in the thick of battle, and I couldn’t even look at him because I’d end up laughing so hard I couldn’t throw my shield straight. Somehow he made the trenches tolerable, sang old navy tunes and things we learned along the way. Even when we were kids he was like that, picking daisies for girls with red ribbons in their pig tails and tears in their eyes, and shoving kids to the ground for calling me names. Bucky was everything I needed and everything more, who knows where I’d be without him. I don’t think you get it. Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky. He was the best part of me. He always was.

as a bi-racial person it’s important to recognize how often we are pushed aside or disregarded from both black and white communities. we are told that we are “too light”from black communities and we are told we are “too dark” from white communities. we face harassment and racism on a daily basis, regardless of how passing some of us may be because we have to see it and tolerate it to the point it becomes a routine.

pete wentz posting a picture of himself on instagram with cornrows was significant to bi-racial people because it was representation that is not often portrayed in spotlight. he received relentless comments of “cultural appropriation” even though he’s half jamaican. he was told that he was no longer attractive and looked terrible for changing his own hairstyle that represented his culture. a response that was so bad and so antagonizing that he deleted it. the bi-racial community instead of celebrating were empathizing with their own stories of similar harassment and racism in their every day lives.  

then he sent a snapchat to everyone the day after with “i don’t fuck with you.” which was encouraging until the following days. no form of media even reported about it even though you know they would have. no one but fans saw his picture on instagram at midnight and by the next morning it had been deleted. many didn’t even see the snapchat but it was a media where he could show himself and not see the backlash. and two days ago he sent a snapchat no longer with braids but hair that had been damaged and stripped.

there are people saying pete can do what he wants with his hair when he got cornrows that are now suddenly turning around and saying the same thing without perspective. there are people saying he’s 36 as an excuse to the outcry like someone who is 36 cannot be harassed, deal with racism in their life, or suffer mental illness that makes them self conscious or experience anxiety. age does not excuse these things and saying so is bordering racist and even ableist to say and move on from.

you are disregarding what that representation meant to bi-racial people and what he went through when he decided to get cornrows in the first place. it’s not singular to him, it’s what bi-racial people deal with daily. no one can read pete’s mind or his reasoning but do not talk down to people for putting pieces together out of empathy from his self spoken history of mental illness he still deals with and not feeling apart of black or white communities (see: twitter) consecutively.
