idk ive been using a book for random bull, writings academic, right?

so yeah, heres how im just destroying this journal, when im done with them i crumple them up or sometimes pour water on it, smear paint on it, hold a sharpie on one place till it rips through, yknow, just for gits and shiggles. i think i burned some pages but stopped when i burned through multiple pages so uh ehe.

and heres some general page fillers, cause using your heads hard, thats why i dont with this book.

I WISH I COULD LEARN

im a fifteen year old highschool student, i dont have friends and i spend all my time either in bed or a classroom. im not the first person, and by gods i wont be the last when i say, i hate school.

the school environment has been screwed from the get go.

wake up at ungodly hours. be at 100% when you should just be waking up. be bombarded with hundreds of other kids, seemingly having better experiences, but suffering alongside you. struggle to even get by while balancing home, personal, and school lives. maybe even juggle a job. find reasons not to stay in bed the rest of your life.

its hard to find the positives when this is most of your life as a kid. its hard to find the one class you enjoy, or the clique you can handle more than the rest. coupled in with home and personal lives, this is fucking daunting to bear through.

but some kids dont hate learning, some people actually do enjoy researching and gaining the information on niche or important subjects. academia is fun, but our learning environment is making us hate it more and more. people struggle with being around others, while others need that sort of environment. not all kids can show their work, sometimes they just cant explain. and no one has the same learning curve.

i have barely gone to school this year, ive been having personal shit mess up the way i live and have been trying to get back into the headspace before everything started changing. in the time i havent been to school, ive been reading titles ive always wanted to, ive been researching things that actually interest me. i once spent until the sun came up reading about druid theology and its history up until modern times, and i loved it. i dream of life where i can just sit in a library holding infinite knowledge, and just learn. no guides, no homework or tests, just learning.

though, i know i cant just stop going to school. a highschool diploma is the bare minimum to be even looked at in any industry. no one looks at a highschool dropout and thinks success. this life will stay in my dreams, and many others as well.

INTRO

wassup, ive noticed i and many others have been in need of a label for an aesthetic between punk, grunge, and dark academia. im in no way coining this term, its been around for a while, and there are other blogs on this. but im just starting to get into the punk scene and want to share my experiences, along with my love for learning and academic aesthetics. so i guess thisd be half an aesthetic blog and half personal? i guess ill havta introduce myself then.

my names myck, i also go by LaVey. im transmasc and go by no pronouns (if youre confused then he or they is also fine, i aint confrontational). im a minor, live in the US (more specifically new england) so ill complain about it a lot, fun right. im also an artist! i do digital art mostly and i like designing patches n stuff :D im tryna get to an art school when i graduate.
