Genuine question: Is this just a me thing or nah? I genuinely find my boyfriend (and all past romantic partners tbh) to be the most attractive when wearing soft cozy sweaters or sweatshirts. It's not like I find him unattractive when in anything else, he's always hot 100% of the time. But when he wears cozy knitwear, the cozy goblin living in my brain goes feral and just wants to pounce on him and cuddle.

But also I'm a knitter and I would wear cozy knitwear everyday MYSELF too. So I wonder if it's just fiber arts autism + loving my bf + being a cuddly sensory seeking little snuggle goblin, or if it's relatively normal to be super attracted to your significant other in comfy cozy clothes?

I'm convinced it was a tragedy that tumblr learned the phrase "bury your gays" at the exact same time it decided that any fictional media darker than Landlord White was pearl-clutchingly problematic. Pouring one out for every creator of earnest LGBT+ media wanting to explore the themes of grief loss and tragedy who then got subsequently hounded by mobs of terminally online users brainrotted on nothing but conflict-free coffee shop AUs.

#'bury your gays' is about straight showrunners/writers/or studio execs who create queer characters simply to use us as tragedy canon fodder #its is NOT about queer writers and showrunners creating content that includes queer pain to tell their own. OUR own. fucking stories #and yeah sometimes that means beloved queer characters die. #it means sometimes fucked up violence just like real life happens to queer characters #we should be allowed to tell our stories. and honestly straight people can even include that in their stories *if it's done respectfully* #we can talk about queer pain and conflict. we can show fictionalized versions of real world pain. thats a good thing even! #there ARE modern examples of ''bury your gays'' and theyre awful and yes you should be angry #but most of the things i see people accusing of that are just....not. theyre not ''bury your gays''! theyre just sad queer stories!!!! #i love a conflict free coffee shop AU as much as the next soft gay autistic fandom weirdo #but i love them because theyre NOT real life and i personally use media as escapism mostly #but thats not what everyone uses media for. and thats okay. and thats important #and i also like things that are sad as long as they have a happy or at least hopeful ending. but its okay if not everyone wants that #i dont understand it personally. life is sad enough that i dont need added fictional sadness but THATS JUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #stop using a phrase we created to call out ACTUAL violent homophobia in the film industry to censor actual irl gay people #who are just telling our stories
