Surprise! I think of Midnights as a complete concept album, with those 13 songs forming a full picture of the intensities of that mystifying, mad hour. However! The Lavender Haze video is out now. There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar Laith Ashley who I absolutely adored working with. This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream. Can't get over Jeff's blatant hatred towards anyone who is a Stiles fan. It's like he said "OK Dylan, you don't want to be in my movie? Well I'm gonna fuck over your fans as hard as possible."

The two biggest Stiles ships were Sterek and Stydia, and both of them got shot in the face. Lydia was having a recurring dream of a car crash so instead of, say, making sure she never drove when it was both of them in the car, or buying a car that was different to the one in her dream, or always having one of them sit up front and one in the back, or, idk, wearing their goddamn seatbelts (how did they both get thrown from the car if they were wearing seatbelts, huh? Exactly. There was an easy fix the whole damn time) instead of doing any of that... she breaks up with him. Over an easily subverted dream.

And Sterek. What the actual literal fuck. "Derek was in love with Stiles but never said so aloud and we're telling you this by way of a clumsy jeep-analogy and also it doesn't matter because Derek is dead now."

They really said "oh you like Stiles? You support one of his main two ships? Well fuck you then."

Watching the teen wolf movie and I'm just gonna say it. Derek and Sheriff Stilinski are a hot dilf couple raising their delinquent teen son and I love it I'm team #hotdads

Did anyone else notice (and correct me if I’m wrong) that Eli never addresses Sheriff Stilinski? Like they have a decent amount of scenes together and Eli never said “Noah” or “Sheriff” or anything else that I noticed. Let me just say…. That boy definitely calls that man Grandpa and I will not accept criticism at this time.

derek 'sheriff consultant' hale & stiles mention, teen wolf: the movie (2023)

the fact that they canonically gave eli stiles' jeep just makes no sense unless sterek is involved somewhere between the lines. it just doesnt. stiles and derek are in communication w/ one another idc what the movie ends up saying about stiles or whether they mention him at all. i know in my heart of hearts that stiles wouldn't just give his BELOVED JEEP to some kid that doesn't mean anything to him.

at best, stiles is eli's surrogate second father and at worst, his cool&eccentric 'Fun Uncle' who not only always makes it to his birthday but brings the party along with him

but no matter what way you try to spin it, stereks stay winning
