This one also relates to the last post. But from Lu’s point of view.

She believes beauty in general doesn’t have standards and that society puts too much weight of its people and the value of beauty and what makes something “beautiful”. People should be able to wear what they want if it makes them feel beautiful and that’s what matters in the end. Guess that’s just another reason why she loves Nightfall because they share that similar belief. But he is more the type to be free with his clothes choices when no one is watches and Lu does it in public. She makes a statement that she does not care what society think and shouts it from a mountain. And just wants nightfall to be the same way and doesn’t understand why he had to hid it. Nightfall’s clearly comfortable wearing dresses and skirts around Lu but as soon as a trip to the park is mentioned he has to change to jeans and a T-shirt. For Nightfall is a safety measure that Lu doesn’t understand yet.

Hopefully this isn’t viewed the wrong way. But it basically, clothes have no gender standards in my eyes and what you wear is how you express yourself and how you choose to express your self love. A male wearing a dress or a girl wearing masculine clothing (couldn’t think of a proper example) shouldn’t deem that male or female anything. Sexuality preference wise. I dunno how to explain it. A boy or girl should be able to wear whatever the hell they want without being approach by strangers or family member just to be scolded at for not wearing what is socially acceptable through their lens.

Nightfall feels his best self when he wears feminine fashion, makes his feel pretty. He identifies as a romantically straight male but doesn’t make him any less of a supporter for the lgbt community. But if you want to view him as a trans or bisexual male you can, I really don’t mind and like it. (Besides your not wrong about the bisexual part) who knows maybe over time he might discover more about himself. Stuff like this takes time. Lu is supportive of him no matter what though.
