besties, uni resumes on monday and I’m exhausted already 😭

unfortunately, there’s no way for me to go through the last few requests and close everything off, since I'm trying to write almost every day and continuously failing to do it. So I decided to ignore the requests and focus on the last posts for the girls. I hate to do this, but at this point I just want to be done 😭

If you sent one of these requests, I sincerely apologize, you have all the right to curse at me and be angry since they have been sitting in my inbox for more than six months I think but on this one I have to put me first and finish everything asap

After Bee and Mark confirmed their relationship, the dynamics inside NCT got a lot more chaotic than usual, and interestingly enough, they weren’t even the ones to tell the rest of the group about it. Instead, they favored telling the dreamies to prevent any awkward encounters, and within a day the rest of the company was aware of it.

WayV was, by far, the unit with the best reaction, since they didn’t really seem to care too much about it and easily got over the news. NCT Dream, as expected, turned into a whole circus with how much they clowned both of them for taking too long to realize their feelings.

Now, NCT 127 had a fairly good reaction to it, by simply joking and asking a few questions. Not that Bee would know about it. She had avoided anyone from the unit for two weeks after Taeyong found her and Mark kissing inside the studio, so by the time she had a full conversation with anyone of them, it was already old news.

“You know, I find it insulting that you only started hanging out with us after you and Mark started dating” Yuta complained from the couch while scrolling through Netflix.

Bee had initially dropped off to hang out with Mark, but after he almost instantly fell asleep, she moved to the living room to see if there was anyone up for watching a movie.

“I used to hang out with you all the time though, these last months we just got too busy for it.” The girl mumbled from the kitchen, focused on finding the expiration date on some packs of gummies she had found in the cabinets.

“You used to hang out on Taeyong and Doyoung’s dorms. Actually, this might be the first time you’ve ever visited us. I don’t blame you though, their place is a lot nicer than ours” He continued craning his neck to see what she was doing “And I wouldn’t eat those, if I were you”.

Putting the gummies down, she looked disappointed in their fridge. Noticing her behavior, Yuta frowned, “Have you not eaten dinner yet?”

“Not yet. We were supposed to order take out, but Mark ended up falling asleep, so…”

“Well, let’s go get something then. There’s nothing new on Netflix anyway” Yuta jumped to his feet and started heading for his room, “I’ll go grab a jacket and my wallet, so we can go”.

“Wait, we can just call a restaurant” Bee tried to reason, feeling like she might have pressured him to leave the house.

“Or we can go to that dumpling place that doesn’t have delivery” He mentioned, making her face lighten up instantly “See, Doyoung isn’t the only one who knows your favorite restaurants”

After he picked up his stuff, and a short car ride, they made it to the nearly empty spot. Sitting by the end of it, Yuta pulled a chair next to hers and instantly opened his arms. “I’m getting my cuddles in, before Mark has you all to himself”

Laying her head on his shoulder, Bee snuggled in closer and laughed, “Mark told me you said this same thing to him”

Yuta laughed and gave her a head pat, “You caught me, but what can I do? Both of my teddy bears started dating each other”.

“Cuddle Jungwoo Oppa?” Raising her head to look at him, Bee laughed once, he rolled his eyes at her suggestion.

“He’s not as squishy as you are” The boy mumbled and rubbed her back for a few seconds before feeling Bee’s belly rumble. Letting go of her, he waved for the waiter, “Sorry, I forgot you were hungry. Let me order something”.

“This is insane” Bee looked amazed at the dumplings before her and took one of them for herself, making Yuta laugh at her full cheeks while she ate it in one bite.

“You know, I could take you here more often if you stop disappearing out of nowhere”

Munching on the dumpling, Bee shrugged, “Our schedules just mismatched, Oppa. I wasn’t doing it on purpose”.

“Right. It’s not like we were recording and promoting the same album for a while” Yuta waited for her to look at him before continuing “I noticed you were trying to stay away from us”.

Lowering her head, Bee mumbled, “I’m sorry”

“But why though? I mean, I just want to understand”.

“It’s kind of dumb” She gave him an apologetic look, “I was trying not to overstep”

“Overstep where?”

“I just noticed whenever you guys date someone, they don’t immediately become part of the group. Of course, the partners still hang around from time to time, but I also think you guys like to spend some time with just the members, like dudes being with dudes. I didn’t want to overstep in your dynamic or anything”.

“You’re adorable” Yuta smiled fondly, making her groan and dive for another dumpling. “I guess you’re right, but from what I think that doesn’t really apply to you. For us in 127 you will always be a NCT member before Mark’s girlfriend, so unfortunately for you, you’ll never get to experience us being put together for the sake of Mark getting laid”.

“Oppa” Bee groaned once again. Yet, Yuta’s smile slowly faded off until he was serious.

Clearing his throat, he inched closer and kept a lower tone, “I don’t want to go there, but I feel morally obligated to for the sake of my mental health. You two know how to keep it safe, right?”

“Keep what safe?” She answered instantly, frowning at his question.

Slightly alarmed, Yuta threw caution out of the window, “Your health. Avoid being parents. Did you two have sex already??”

Choking on air, Bee felt her neck getting warm, while she added his two questions together “Safe. Right. We know how to be safe. And please never ask me that again”.

“Yun-hee, don’t think you're fooling me” He found some enjoyment in taunting her. “Well, if ever needed, there’s a box of condoms on the bathroom. Mark knows about it, but it’s best if you do too”.

“Can we please drop this? I’m not ready to be a teenage mom”.

“Yun-hee, you’re literally twenty”

Hayun ran down to the water, focused on the big floatie park where a few of the members were playing on.

“Hayunnie, do you want to try wakeboarding?” Scoups called her from the side, making the girl abruptly stop on her track and stare at her options.

Noticing her conflicted state, Jeonghan laughed and advised her “You can always come back to wake board later, go ahead”

The girl gave him a short nod before continuing her way into the narrow dock that led to the floaties.

Waddling on the first air mattress, she crawled until the second one to try the small shortcut to the inflatable slingshot.

Shouting for Joshua, DK and Jun, Hayun ran on top of the small floaties “Guys wait for me, I’m-” and then she fell right into the water.

Thanks to her life vest, she floated right back to the surface and tried getting back on top of the air mattress. Watching amused, Dokyeom laughed, “Woah, that was slapstick material”.

“Should we go help” Jun asked after he finally stopped laughing at the way Hayun fell, and Joshua giggled, “Let’s wait a few more minutes to see if she can do it”

After her fifth frustrated attempt to pull herself up, Hayun looked at them, still sitting and enjoying her suffering. “Are you just going to sit there?”

“Noona, I got you” Dino said suddenly from behind her and quickly pulled her up by the strings of the life vest.

“I don’t know when you got here but thank you” Hayun hugged him and grabbed his hand. Noticing another boy swimming towards one of the ladders, she frowned, “When did Seungkwan fall on the water?”

“Scoups pushed me” The boy yelled annoyed, making her giggle and stand up. Once she balanced herself on the air mattress, Hoshi came running and slipped just close enough to fall while pulling her along with him.

“I had just gotten up there” She whined getting her head off the water and waited for Dino and Seungkwan to stop whatever they were playing to help both of them to go up back on the mattresses.

“Yah, we don’t have to wait, those things are made for us to go back up” Hoshi told her before swimming for a small ramp like structure on the side of one of the floaties.

Grunting, Hayun tried following him, who easily got back up on the mattress and helped to pull her up as well. Noticing she was on the other side of the shortcut she tried taking earlier, the girl smiled mischievously.

“Hey, Mingyu” Getting the boy’s attention, she pointed at the circular shaped objects “Let’s do a challenge to see if anyone can run through this thing at once”

“Should I?” He yelled back, and she gave him a thumbs up. “Okay, here I go” And just like she had before, he took two steps before falling into the water.

“You knew this was going to happen, didn’t you?” Mingyu asked while crawling on the ramp, and Hayun took it as an opportunity to steal the glasses from his face and put them on herself. “Hey! Where are you going with those?”

Giggling excited, Hayun turned around to escape by climbing through the small trapeze like structure. Quickly enough, Mingyu caught up to hold her in place and try to get his glasses back.

“Hold up, we're going to fall into the water like this” She took advantage from his second of hesitation and got separated from his grasp, efficiently running away from him.

“Hyung, get my glasses back!” Mingyu pleaded, and before the girl could process it, Scoups was standing before her with crossed arms.

“Where do you think you’re going?” The leader laughed at her startled face. Holding her in place, he pulled her close to the edge of the air mattress and waited until Mingyu caught up to them.

“Thank you very much” He grinned, snatching the glasses back to himself.

“Do you have any last words?” Scoups laughed, itching closer to the edge, and the girl tried getting off from his grip.

“Seungcheollie, you don’t have to be like this” She did the best pleading look she could, making the leader contemplate for a few seconds before going with his original plan of throwing her into the water.

Once again, swimming back to the air mattresses, Hayun heard a faint “Noona, I got you” before someone reached out a hand to help her to get back on.

Patting his head fondly, Hayun sighed, “These days you’re the only one who’s getting me Dino”

“Sunny gets in a car accident”

All the boys sighed, annoyed, as time ticked by.

They had been stuck at that photoshoot sight for more than an hour at that point, just waiting for the last member to arrive.

Pacing annoyed, Jin sighed and looked towards the managers, “Sunny never takes this long. What even happened?”

The same manager that had answered him about three times now, shrugged and repeated the same mechanical answer “She left a little later than everyone else, so her car got stuck in traffic”

“She left ten minutes after us, traffic couldn’t have gotten that much worse in such a small-time frame. I mean, it's been hours, are you even talking with her manager?”

“The cell service is awful on the road, you were the one who complained about it when we were on the way.” The same manager sighed and checked his phone again, “The last news we got was that they were leaving Seoul and the roads were blocked”.

Patting the couch next to himself, Jimin waited for Jin to sit down and gave him a side hug “Hyung, we should probably distract ourselves for a while, then we won’t even notice how late she’s being”

“I don’t think he’s stressed about that. It is a little weird that everyone in her car is out of reach.” Namjoon thought out loud and Suga added, “Knock on wood something bad happen, but I also don’t have a good feeling about how long this is taking”.

Jungkook laughed and fidgeted with his sleeve, “I mean, this is Sunny we're talking about. Cell service or not, she would probably find a way to text us to complain about being late or something like that”.

As soon as he got done talking, another manager came from outside straight to the group. The boys quickly got confused, as it seemed that the directors were starting to repack their unused equipments.

“Shooting is being postponed. We just got in touch with Seoul’s Center Hospital, and it appears that Sunny’s car was involved in a crash” The manager sensed how tense the boys got and held up his hand to continue without interruptions. 

“The manager driving is under a small surgery right now, but the doctors think everything will turn out well. As for Sunny, she only had a sprain on her wrist and a dislocated shoulder. We couldn’t reach them until now because her phone got broken during the crash”.

The group went silent as they took in the news, Taehyung being the first to speak up with a simplistic “Holy fuck”

“What do you mean, ONLY a broken wrist and a dislocated shoulder?” Jin snapped, getting red from the neck up. Yoongi placed a hand on his shoulder, speaking annoyed, “Hyung, her manager had to go into surgery.”

“Is she still by herself?” Jimin frowned worried.

“The hospital contacted the company a couple of minutes ago. Somebody is probably already on their way to make her company”.

“Great, why aren’t we heading there too?” Namjoon looked around for the rest of the managers and clapped his hands, “Let’s get moving. We’re done wasting time here”.

Sunny sat peacefully on the hospital bed while a Hybe staff typed furiously on his phone, probably updating her higher ups on the idol’s and her manager’s conditions.

Although she had also gone unconscious, Sunny didn’t show any signs of concussion or any other damage that didn’t involve her arm. As she was sitting for being monitored for a couple of hours, the girl couldn’t help but feel anxious over her manager’s situation.

She was lost in thought when the door slammed open by Jin and J-hope quickly entering the room with the rest of the boys following behind.

“I knew something had happened to you, careless child” The eldest crossed his arms standing at the foot of her bed, and starting a choir of “How are you doing” and some variations of “you scared us to death”.

“Can everyone calm down? I can feel a headache creeping in” The girl whispered, hoping they wouldn’t hear her, but miraculously all the boys fell silent and shared worried glances.

“Did you hit your head during the crash? The doctors should test you to see if everything is fine up there, I mean, you could have hurt your brain during it. I’ll call someone over to check if your head is okay” Jimin went into a mild panic state, yet before he could leave the room, Namjoon grabbed his arm and stopped him.

“I already went through every exam possible. Everything is fine, I would just appreciate if you guys could be a little more quiet”.

“We worry about you, and this is how you thank us?” Jungkook rolled his eyes and jumped up to sit beside her on the hospital bed. “How are you doing, though? Does it hurt anywhere else?”

“I didn’t actually feel any pain, I guess. By the time the adrenaline cut off I was already on painkillers, so I guess I’m fine” She did her best to shrug, despite the cast on her arm and isolated shoulder.

“Are you okay, though?” Yoongi frowned as he noticed her uneasy appearance. Tapping two fingers on his head, he added, “Mentally, I mean. It must have been pretty scary”.

Taking a deep breath, Sunny allowed herself to share a little of what’s on her head, “I guess it still isn’t over. It depends on what happens with manager Unnie”.

This was one of the few times Sunny looked smaller than she was. Seeing her being vulnerable and worried left the boys wondering how could they just push aside the fact that she did just go through a potentially traumatic experience.

“Let’s keep it positive that everything is going to turn out fine, okay?” Namjoon broke the awkward silence that had built inside the room, and taking his cue, Taehyung scooted over to where her injured arm was.

“We should probably distract ourselves until we get some news. Do you know how long you’re going to have this cast for?” He asked, also checking with the staff member if they had a sharpie on them, which they easily passed it over to him.

Looking skeptically at him, Sunny complied, “The doctors said about a month. And if you’re thinking about drawing on it, I’d rather not”.

“Why not?” Taehyung whined, unclasping the pen and reaching over for her arm. Which the girl tried to get it out of his reach, but having her movements limited, she couldn’t do much more than lean to the side, almost pushing JK out of the hospital bed.

In the middle of the chaos of her screaming for V to not write anything, Jungkook holding onto her in order not to fall off, and Jin screaming for them to be careful, Taehyung managed to get his signature on her cast arm.

Smiling victorious, he ignored her sulking and passed the sharpie to J-Hope, who much more gracefully also signed the cast. Sunny could only sit there and watch as, one by one, the boys took turns writing their signatures, as if she were some injured fan who had the luck of meeting them inside the hospital.

“There you go” Jungkook added a heart at the end of his signature and closed the sharpie once and for all, “Now you have your cast signed by Bangtan themselves”

“Technically, it's seven out of eight” Sunny pondered out loud, slowly appreciating every one of their names.

“So, what are you waiting for?” The boy was about to give her the pen, when he noticed something. Letting out a breathy laugh, Jungkook rolled his eyes, “You really were unlucky to the point of injuring your dominant hand”.

“Why are you saying it like I got to chose which wrist I wanted to screw up.” Getting ready to shove him off the bed once and for all, Sunny got interrupted by a nurse coming inside the room and politely introducing herself.

“I was sent to tell you that everything occurred well with Ms. Choi’s surgery, and that soon she’ll be moved into a room like this one”

Finally, breathing relieved, Sunny gave her a thankful smile and leaned back on the hospital bed. Closing her eyes for a moment, until somebody placed a hand on her shoulder.

“Feeling better now?” Taehyung gave her one of his boyish smiles, and she nodded, closing her eyes again, “I really want to take a long ass nap. Today has been a ride, and it’s not even noon yet”.
