anyway last night i had a dream in which a morpheal coworker gave me the advice "don't forget to use every gay tool in your gay toolbox" and like, mood

i think we need a new word to describe something that within the framework of a dream is completely real but does not exist in real life

i propose morpheal (from morpheus, greek god of dreams)

like there's a dream where you're talking to your very real friend

there's a dream where you are talking to a fictional character from existent media who was real in the dream

there's a dream where you are talking to someone who is real but not your friend, but was your friend in the dream

and then there's a dream where you are talking to a morpheal friend, who in the dream is just another friend of yours but who, upon waking, you realize is not a real person who ever existed even in your brain prior to the dream

i get that 4/13 is not one but two tumblr holidays, and also that no one is obligated to care about anything or to post about it even if they do, but

it seems weird (and a little upsetting) that, when i see so many other Important Humanitarian Concerns on the Caring About Humanitarian Concerns website, it took 3 hours - from the end of shabbat, when i turned on my phone and opened tumblr, until i spoke to my parents - for me to find out that iran has been dropping bombs on civilian centres in israel all day today

Just because your sentiment is targeted towards jews zionists does not mean that its not repackaged right wing talking points and bigotry.

Putting a cut off date for jews indigenousness at its core is still anti indigenous folk and putting a cut off date for an indigenous group regardless if it's targeted towards jews.

Calling jews colonizers for trying to rebuild their nation on land that was stolen from them is at its core anti land back movements.

Claiming that openly queer jews are "pink washing" is at its core queerphobic as you want queers you don't like to be silent or hidden away.

As someone who has been living with severe suicidal ideation my entire life I wanna tell you all something, you don’t have to stay alive for yourself. People will say it’s a bad idea to live for external things because they’re temporary, and it’s true living for yourself is ideal but if you’re not to that point yet that’s ok too. 

I’ve lived for my dog for the past 4 years, before that I lived for my snakes, before that I lived for my cat. You can live for whatever needs you and whatever matters to you. Live for your best friend, live for your plants, live for your pets, live for your animal crossing town. Live for whatever keeps you alive and the day will come when you can live for yourself.

To everyone suggesting the genetic factors likely in play - I agree! I'm totally on board with the cause - that's a big part of why I formed this theory. I just want to know if the effect I'm describing is real, or just a product of confirmation bias and too small sample size on my part

I have an unscientific theory about correlation between jews and specific medical dietary restrictions so i have decided to test my theory in a more broad but still extremely unscientific way, by asking tumblr!

specifically, i want to know if there is a correlation between the inability to safely eat nuts and/or gluten, and jewish ancestry

please select the relevant "can't eat nuts/gluten" option even if it is only ONE of those two which is not safe for you to eat
