🍃Joy as Resitance🍃 Kaabo Clay Collective is a new mutual aid network for Black ceramicists. On Tuesday, May 25th, the anniversary of George Floyd’s death, we are commemorating his life and all others who are victims of state violence by hosting an online ceramics sale with all proceeds going toward an award for a Black ceramicist in need. On that date, the sale as well as the award application will be open to the public. Black ceramicists of any skill level and educational background are encouraged to apply. The theme of the work in the sale is “Joy as Resistance” and each piece included has been donated generously by members of the collective.
