two minutes after i wrote this my application got approved with the other place i'm considering. uh oh. now i have to make a decision lmao.

lollll the church apt i applied to finally sent me a copy of the lease to look over EXCEPT they didn't put in anything about my cats, so i had to email them to remind them i'd be moving in with pets. and then the leasing lady emailed me back saying she updated it and included a pet addendum... except there was nothing attached to the email. so i had to email her AGAIN and say sorry but can you actually send me these docs for real this time. and i haven't heard back from her yet (this was maybe. 2hrs ago?) so i'm like. my 48 signing deadline better not start until i get this updated lease lmao.

#liveblogging life #the thing is for me these two roughly equal out between all the different factors i care about #so really it comes down to am i willing to pay about 150 more for one apt vs the other #and how much do i care about having an in-unit washer/dryer vs how much do i care about having big windows #also the amount down for the apt is much lower with one vs the other which is kind of nice #and i'm being pro-rated the first month rent bc my move in is a week after the first which is ALSO really nice #and like. i already know i can buy a portable washer and air dry if i really hate my laundry set up. #[long sigh] #this is all i'm going to be able to think about all night. bc i have to decide by tomorrow lmao #also not to be petty but this second place got back to me less than 2 days after i applied while the first one took over a week lol

It recently occurred to me that one of my fave feel good/comfort movies, Big Eden, could be included as part of C6D because it stars Eric Schweig who was in the due South pilot.

Big Eden is a sweet film about a gay man who returns to his small hometown in Montana to take care of his ill grandfather, and pretty much the whole town then proceeds to play matchmaker between him and the local general store owner, Pike (Eric Schweig).

This film means a lot to me as Native/Indigenous representation is hard to come by, and queer Native/Indigenous rep even more so. I highly recommend it to any dS/C6D fans, and anyone in general, who wants to watch a lovely queer romance.

#i cant rec this film enough it made laugh it made me weep #dialogue from it stayed with me long after i watched it for the first time #it was tense it was joyful it was funny as fuck in places #and it was so sweet and emotional without running into corny #idk man it's just a good fucking movie i love it #big eden
