Announcement! My Big Secret Thing is...

I’M MAKING A COMIC BOOK!!! (info below)

For the past two years, I’ve been working with author and head of The Asteroid House creative community Christopher J McLucas on a comic book based on a script he wrote called For The Birds.

For The Birds stars an ensemble cast of birds, bugs, and mammals who all work in a nightclub called Menagerie. Each character’s story is a vignette of their struggles with love and relationships.

It will be 100 pages of fully colored hand-painted work by yours truly. The first 9 pages are completed and will be available to read when we launch a Kickstarter campaign for publishing costs on May 1st.

Local fans can catch Christopher and me talking about it at these upcoming events:

5/25 6pm - Art class @ Cafe Monster

I zoned out for two hours and when I came back I had made a new mammalian fursona in case of emergencies. Not to replace TaxRaptor, of course, just to better represent myself when TaxRaptor isn't as fitting.

UPDATE: Tweaked a few things and I'm much happier with her look now. Also she has a name! Meet Micah. :)
