new work on my new acc!

something always forgotten.

a short comeback special. inspired by sagau and all my mutuals <3 & ladies and gentlemen, please remember to drink water♡

warnings : suicidal thought(s), nothing out of the ordinary except that :) no proofread though im too lazy

it was...dry.

if someone where to ask you how you're feeling right now, that is exactly what you're going to give them as an answer—with no explanation whatsoever. for you, it was the prefect answer.

it was hot. it was sunny, very sunny. you were heavily sweating. your throat is dry. you want to simply just...die. it was hell. it was torture. you can't move and you can't breath.

"what the fuck happened?" wow. you managed to utter a whole sentence—great job. your thoughts were still in a spiral, like you have these tiny people in your mind running everywhere, panicking, screaming and you can hear them all, resulting in you not being able to think a coherent thought.

you swallowed your saliva nervously and tried to calm your mind. 'breath in, breath out.' you thought, but your panicking mind was still louder than you, so you tried it again.

'breath in, breath out.'

they're still loud.

you lay on your back, ignoring the hot and dry soil. you just wanted to calm your messed up thoughts. "breath in..." your voice was getting weaker, but it didn't matter. "br..eath out..."

you don't get it. what did you do to deserve this? tears started to form and others started to slid down your cheeks. just as about when your eyes started to close, you saw someone. a shadowy figure running. it was getting closer.

and closer.

and closer.

and...

"your highness-!"

you were woken up by an annoying sound. it was your alarm clock. "6:30 am..." just in time to get ready for work. you felt something dry on your cheeks—that too, was annoying you so you reached out your hand to check it out.

'dried out tears? did i watch something sad last night?'

you looked for your phone and saw it on the floor. you immediately took it and checked. "7 percent..." you sighed. you reached out for your charger and plugged it in then charged your phone.

you checked what you have been doing last night and found that you were playing genshin before you fell asleep so you figured that you were doing a very sad quest then got sleepy while you were crying.

however, when you logged in to check what quest you were doing, the first character you saw was the traveller. "what the fuck..." your eyes squinted. you checked them out and wow, their build is...impressive.

'did i do this?'

when it comes to building characters, you were the worst. artifacts, rates and whatever, you just didn't bother. whatever artifacts looked good on the character, you go with it.

and speaking of characters...they are all messed up. they have the most random artifacts that you know yourself, didn't give them. your heart suddenly dropped. did you get hacked or something?! you don't know.

you spent a good 20 minutes looking though your characters then deciding to put the phone down to get ready. not knowing that the game opened on its own while your looking away and the same thing happened when you were sleeping the night away.

Wake up, My love.

Summary: A story of an unknown person and a boy waiting for them to wake up—the story of how Teyvat first met you.

Warnings: NO BETA

(i was listening to this song while i was writing this so-)

There was a boy standing before a person peacefully sleeping in what seemed to be a summoning circle, waiting for someone to activate it. The boy stared in awe at the person—the silk that was wrapped in their body was whiter than the snow, softer than a wild animal's fur they once touched.

The boy watched the uknown person's chest go up and down, curious eyes focusing on their breathing. ‘they're alive.’ But the boy didn't seemed to care, trapped in the abyss with no one to talk to, the boy mistook the person as his so-called entertainment that Celestia might've sent for him.

‘Maybe, Celestia have finally accepted me...’ he smiled at the thought of it. He just wants someone to accept him for who he is—not as the one who made the grounds that the human beings uses.

And so, the boy talked to the unknown person about how he's alone and how he wanted to see the sun he longed for, or how much he wanted to feel breeze gently caressing his skin—even though the unknown person is not answering, the boy was happy.

The unknown person was not listening, no. They were living in a dream. A dream that they're in another world—no visions, no supernaturals, just human beings made for them only.

In this case, their source of entertainment as the summoning circle is not yet ready to be activated.

“When will you wake up?” The boy asked, Hopefully wanting an answer in return as he looked at your body, still breathing just fine. He knows about this feeling—‘w-what was it?’

The feeling of loneliness.

He waited for you, and yet—you're still sleeping. He wanted to hear your voice, he wants to see the colour of your eyes, he wants to make you smile, he wants to free you from what he thought an 'endless nightmare'.

He punched, he bled and did everything for the summong circle to open.

He even tried to sacrifice himself.

And yet, you didn't wake up.

Or so he thought...
