you're smart enough to know the difference between resting and rotting. you'll be happier when you choose to spend your time off restoring your energy and preparing for the next busy day instead of oversleeping and mindlessly consuming content.

Get out of your head. You’re over complicating it and it taking up more time than if you would have started. Stop over consuming. It’s making you second guess yourself and keeping you from starting.

how are we on assessment week already? we just started uni 🥲
reminder to never start an essay just 24 hours before it's due, cuz while I am almost done and will submit it in time, it's not worth all the stress and coffee

A lot of times you don't realize how attainable the things you want can be because you are stuck in an environment that is not cohesive to those results. And that is not your fault. But it does not change the fact that the reality is exists. Placing yourself in the right environment will open you up to new opportunities and a new way of thinking. This should be your goal. Nothing you want is out of reach. But if you do not decide to make changes, nothing is going to change.

These are the things I do for MY own health. Emotionally, mental and physical. These habits were incorporated in my life little by little, not all at once, and are now part of my lifestyle. This post is basically a reference or suggestions for anyone who is interested, not me telling you that you have to do all of these things.
Pilates and light weight work outs 30-45 minutes daily.
10k Steps daily.
Eat the designated amount of nutritional intake for my body daily.
1 Gallon of water daily.
Morning and evening skincare routine.
1 Facial a week.
1-2 hours of reading daily (mostly audible).
Meditate in the morning.
Communicate my feelings about any given situation.
Sleep with silk gowns and a silk pillow.
Spearmint tea 2 times a day for hormone regulation.
Create a to do list daily.
1 hour of learning something new.
Scroll social media for 1 hour max - I have a timer on my phone that disables apps.
Remove anyone who stresses me out.
Massage 1 a week.
Dress up every day even when i'm working from home.
Treat myself to something when I accomplish small goals.
Take supplements daily.
Journal my feelings.

Whilst you nourish your body with exercise, slow yoga, nighttime body milk, adorn it with jewellery and sultry perfume, carefully drape it with clothes that fit… don’t forget to nourish your mind. Classical music, podcasts, brain games like crosswords, sudoku, mental math, art even if you’re terrible at it, gardening even if your plants never seem to grow, cooking even if you might burn the house down - embrace learning, embrace curiosity, and enjoy your own company. Be the best wife you could be to your own self first. Care for yourself, defend yourself, grow, teach, constructively criticise yourself; be the best parent you could be to yourself.

I can't believe moving out and living alone is actually even better than imagined. I wake up late on Saturdays. I'm on my phone while preparing breakfast. I drink my coffee over a book and sit there way longer than needed. I write without interruption. I sing and no one complains. I clean because I want my home to be clean, not because someone told me. During the week I go to work, I have my own ritual in the morning, I don't have to be too quiet. I talk with my colleagues and make plans that I don't have to argue about at home. I come home after grocery stopping. I cook a nice meal. I play a game. I talk to myself. I lean out the window and watch the moon. Sometimes I go out randomly to have a big walk through the city. I eat what I want. Its magical. Its my own energy, my own pace, my own space.
