Fifteen

How is it even possible to love fifteen men, you ask me? I don’t know. I really don’t. …all I know is that… I do. I do love them. I love all of them, all fifteen of them. I love our wonderful angel without wings, our leader Leeteuk. I love our egoistic Heenim, the gorgeous Cinderella, our special Heechul. I love our pleasant Chinese member, Hangeng. (And I miss him, too!) I love our voice of an artist, our weird and quirky Yesung. I love our number one handsome raccoon, the strong yet kind Kangin. (One more year!) I love our hilarious yet talented singer, dancer, and rapper Shindong. I love our aegyo king, our pink prince, our Sungmin. I love our dancing machine, our anchovy, the energetic Eunhyuk. I love our Fashion Gentleman Mimi, the stylish Zhoumi. I love our squishy fishy, our handsome five-year-old Donghae. I love our charming prince, our chocolate abs, the charismatic Siwon. I love our eternal maknae, the hardworking and forever-lovable Ryeowook. I love our sweet boy with that killer smile, our Kibum. (Miss you so much…) I love our evil maknae and his intense singing, our amazing Kyuhyun. I love our cute Mochi, our incredible violinist, our endearing Henry. These fifteen men… how can anybody not love them? We loved them first for their good looks and their singing voices and their synchronized dancing. But as we got to know them, as we watched them grow, as we went through the sad times and happy times with them… it became more than just love for their outer appearances. We love them for who they are inside, for who each of them are. They are one united group filled with different individuals. We respect Leeteuk, we understand Heechul, we value Eunhyuk, we accept Zhoumi, we are proud of Kyuhyun, we give Ryeowook support, we defend Henry, we love Siwon, we comfort Donghae, we include Shindong, we treasure Sungmin, we appreciate Yesung… …but we also saw Hangeng leave, we cried when Kangin cried, and we silently miss our Kibum… All these things that we have been through together with Super Junior… they only make us stronger. We have to believe that this is not the end. Leeteuk and Heechul are leaving soon… but so what? We are one, and we will always be one. This isn’t the end, ELFs. No. It’s just the beginning. You have to believe. All fifteen of them will be up there on stage someday. …and what a beautiful sight that will be.
