So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

I do not usually make posts like this but recently I have seen a lot of content on Instagram, Twitter and I think tiktok too misunderstanding the meaning of intrusive thoughts, which may cause people experiencing them to be upset.

I have tried to shortly explain the difference of impulsive and intrusive and hope it will help people to understand and use the words correctly.

Ok, we all know Cinder's a menace, and takes glee in people getting hurt, especially if he's the one causing that hurt

But he seems to be really afraid of him himself getting hurt or defeated. For one, all the scared and shocked faces he made when Kai was able to fight his Shatterspin with ease.

And two, when Ras fucking slammed Jordana to the floor. Prior to that point, Ras had at times gotten verbally irritated at the two, especially Jordana, but had never gotten physically violent such as this. And the ease with which Ras did it, and possibly even the fact that Ras could withhold from using the gong to somewhat weaken Cinder, and then slam him, is terrifying.

#THIS #dude was literally terrified when kai was easily defeating him just like that #he even looked scared in a way when jordana got slammed to the ground by ras #he may enjoy seeing others hurt especially if he caused it but that's different when it's him getting hurt #especially from someone like ras #who could easily weaken him whenever he wanted to #and being weak is something cinder strays away from as far as he could #toasty tag

When Ras first fights Arin at the very beginning of the show, we see that Ras is constantly frowning, obviously pissed about Rapton's and the Claw's incompetence.

Whereas in Season 2 when he fights Arin, even though he's pissed at Jordana's incompetence (hence him throwing her against the ground), Ras is smiling the whole time. He is taking glee in this. He's defeating Arin almost as easily as he did before, and he knows it.

#prev penofwildfire is so real #I also agree that the tea is important for his character and I never ignored it #but the way fanon interprets it? it's just..infruriating. the amount of lloyd doesn't know his age jokes is not funny to me tbh #that's my issue w/ all of this. like yes he aged physically but that does not??? change his chronological age???? #were the ninjas' ages changed when they got shrunk into kids? or were they still 15 y/os but in the body of their younger selves? #lloyd is still 10-13 even in that body #plus as someone who always looked older than her age which is something that I'm not confident about #lloyd was basically representation for me. he also looked older despite his actual age just like me #so yeah the tea is important and cannot be ignored and it also doesn't change the fact he fought at such a young age #but I barely agree with any of the fanon interpretations
