I'm tired,
Tired of trying to convince myself that I am OK.
Tired of pushing myself to the belief that it all work out.
But I will continue to play my part in this life. The friend that you can turn to in your time of need. That placeholder until you find that other person. You stepping stone to what you truly want.
That is my lot in life and I accept it. That temporary moment until you find the permanent that you desire.
The one that has your back and the one you can call at 2am for help.
Whilst I sit at home alone facing my demons in the dark one by one, until one day they win.
And it won't be a great battle of the ages, where man stands side by side with his kin to defeat the darkness.
But a solitary man who falls alone.

You cannot escape your sins
Story time
Gather close children and I will tell you the story of… “The Slider”
Many many years ago lived a man named @klubbhead. He lived a peaceful life in a quiet neighbourhood. He work and paid his taxes, just like you and I.
One summer it was mighty hot. He couldn’t seem to be able to cool down. He said to his children “come let us go to the garden, I shall make us a slip n slide”.
The children all full of glee, quickly rushed upstairs to change. Whilst he set it all up.
The children went down, one by one. Laughing and joking, as they slide to the end of the yard. He watched them closely, smile on his face. To see his children so happy, filled him with pride.
“Your go daddy!” Cried the children
“We want to see you do it” they sang.
He rose from his chair like a Phoenix from the ashes and stood at the top of the slide. He took a few steps back, then began to stride.
This is where it all turns dark. You see, @klubbhead was a man, who liked to feel fresh, so he waxed his body, from his chest to his legs. He was silly smooth and soft to the touch. As he hit the slide he went off with great speed, for you see, he’d been to see his waxer Ming Lee.
He slid and slide, through the fence, he went down the road and into the distance.
They say he is still sliding to this day, if you would be so fortunate to see him slide by your house. 7 years of good luck are gifted and a single wish granted.
But my friends do not try to touch him, for if you do, you too will become hairless and a slider too. Destined to slide for all the days…
